Heads Up :: Dolphins v. Falcons Replay TODAY

Let's be honest, Sanchez and Henne have the same stats, but if Henne can eliminate the bonehead plays at the time we can't afford like Sanchez, he can help us. No one is screwing with Sanchez, but his stats are almost identical. He just doesn't make mistakes when the time is clutch.

The preseason announcers are awful. Dick Stockton, the Dolphins analyst, called Matt Bryant (the Falcons kicker) Matt Ryan twice last night. He called one of the Falcons safeties "Reggie Bush" (his name is Rafael Bush)

The Falcons announcer called Dan Carpenter "Chris Carpenter" (the St. Louis Cardinals pitcher)

It really is preseason all around.

Honestly, Griese is the worst. He called Francis, Dansby last night. He called Chad Henne / Matt Henne . . . and a whole bunch of other stuff.

2nd viewing of the 2nd INT looked worse than I originally thought. Unless Bess did something wrong, there was no option there for Henne

Anyone know about this? I read somewhere that Bess ran the wrong route (can't remember where though) Other than this play, I thought Henne actually did pretty well. He showed some mobility running for a first down and evading pressure, and he hit Hartline with a perfect strike. I think he did really well, especially considering he didn't have Marshall or Bush out there.

honestly though rewatching Henne, his stat line should have been 6-8 with 1 TD and 1 INT. Fasano should have caught the first INT, and after Henne did a great job avoiding the CB blitz he hit Bess right in the numbers and Bess dropped it.

Now that does not excuse the 2nd INT. Even if Bess and Henne had a mix up, Henne forced something that wasn't available. Last night I thought he needed a little touch, watching the replay, Bess was well covered up top

Yea well u know I got hated on in chat explaining the exact same thing u did . . . but its all good. I pointed out the bonehead INT and looked at the positives with the side step, scramble, TD plus 2 drops.

I dunno, hard to give Henne any credit around here lol.

A couple of very nice plays by Benny Sapp!!! First the great pass defense on the out route practically stripping the ball out. THen a highlight reel int on the next play!

Stats = Worthless

Use your eyeballs. Watch the games.

Sanchez is light years ahead of Henne.

1)Speaking of pass defense is N.Carroll the new W. Allen he seems to play off coverage and easily allows 5-8 yards per catch geez man
2) i have to give AJ Epps credit he seems to cover well

In the clutch, yes I agree. Sanchez seems to make the right reads, but accuracy wise is not.

Light years ahead???? Talk about your blind hatred. Now Matty Ryan and Joe Flacco, they would be light years ahead of Chad Henne. But Sanchez, come on man!

I agree on both accounts. Nolan Carrol seems to have taken a big step back. AJ Edds though looks like a player. Can't wait to see him in nickel this year matched up against TE's and RB's!

Blind hatred is exactly what it is.

If Sanchez played anywhere else other than New York, Buffalo, or New England, he wouldn't even be mentioned here at FinHeaven but we'd all recognize that he's much better than Henne and has a bright NFL future ahead of him. Similar to Josh Freeman. You swap Mark Sanchez and Josh Freeman and Josh Freeman is getting a lot of hate these days.
