Henne is in trouble.

he needs help around him. period. a #1 guy will get him out of a tight spot and help him build confidence and establish himself. the not getting open, stupid outs on every play (especially 3rd and longs), dropped passes, ducking out of bounds and immediately falling down will only frustrate him endlessly. he could use some help from henning too - get creative dude.

you guys remember beck, right? he was bad - but was he THAT bad?

Beck had a problem...he couldn't throw....other than that...he was alright.
 
Heavy is the head that wears the crown...Henne is the king....long live the King....but if he can't produce...off with his head.

Seriously the language?

No he didnt have much help but Neither did Penny but he seemed to manage ok, you cant base an argument on fear of the kid struggling because he has no weapons as you say. What we gonna do throw tyler in there for 3 years until FINALLY We get a Randy moss type player then throw Henne in?

Chill, If Penny can suceed with no weapons as you say so can Henne with a bigger arm.

henne doesn't have the head or decision making skills pennington did. just help him succeed - that's all i'm saying. this comedy of errors that's been our QB situation is getting old. give the kid some help.

for the record - i will be furious if thigpen gets to start over henne. i'm ready for henne to come in and show us what he's got - i'd just like him to have a better shot at winning us some games.

you guys really expect him to come in and light the world on fire with our group of guys? not gonna happen folks.

Of course i would love to think that he can light it up, Reality he prob will and can do average to good. But then again ....Who thought Sanchez would be playing well, or flacco, or ryan, or Hmmm Marino during his start. All im saying is it can happen, prob not though.

can he? of course there's a possibility. but does he have a better shot with some help? like ... sanchez has with cotchery ... or flacco with mason ... or ryan with white? you get the point i'm trying to make. put some talent around him and let the kid blossom. don't make him do it on his own - he's gonna have a hard enough time as it is. do you want to draft another QB in the early rounds next year? i sure don't. hell, id rather give up one of those picks to get bowe in here - at least then we wouldn't be spinning our wheels.

I guess i could flip it and say that Ginn hasnt flourished because of lack of QB play. Maybe with a deep thrower he can become the deep threat he was meant to be. Ginn isnt stellar right now but like Henne COULD be very good. We will see, time will tell.

GAWD i hope so. i just don't see it though. it sure as hell would have helped him in terms of his long ball potential but nothing will help his fall down/duck out of bounds on every play gay pornfest except growing a pair. harrison did it playing smart. ginn does it (or doesn't do it, really) playing scared. it makes me crazy watching him play. him and harvin have exactly the same body type and skill set. watch them both play ... know what we're missing ... insert ice pick into brain.

:lol:Henne has just about no chance at looking as bad as Beck did.

Beck was a silly/sad kind of bad you only see once every 10 years in the nfl.

lets just hope we have something to look forward to for the next 10 years....fingers crossed. Yes ginn needs to start playing scared PERIOD.
