listen, I was at the game tonight. I thought that he played better than he has. That being said, He made one play on a botched coverage and then brandon made the TD.

He got sacked a bunch from the OLINE being useless, but he also took a few sacks because he still doesnt know how to move in the pocket.

Let me say this again. He was better than chad henne of last year, but thats not saying much.

This team is going to lose games specifically because of the Oline and because of henne.

Now I was surrounded by bucs and dolphins fans. We had a few discussions. the bucs fans that said they know what its like to have bad teams said henne sucked. the dolphins fans all want sporano gone, henne gone, and for the most part all would love cowher (this was like a crowd of 10-15)...

Henne is not the answer and will be gone next year.

Why would any team game plan for a pre season game, when in 2 weeks you have the opener. Where did you get this info? Teams are preparing for the season to begin. I hope we are getting ready for the Pats and not wasting time worrying about what the Bucs were going to do in a meaningless game.

Henne stepping up and showing out helps this franchise a lot more than trashing his *** and having to draft a new QB and starting over. But if Henne can't be the ONE thing in his career that he has NEVER been...and that's CONSISTENT...I won't be surprised...but somehow you guys will.

If you've stood by Henne this entire time and never said anything bad about the dude, then good for you. But there's no way in hell you're gonna sit here and tell me that you haven't watched a game where Henne has flat out stunk it up and not had some questions in the back of your mind. LOL and I return from my Summer hiatus to find the exact same debate raging on. I love you guys on Finheaven mannnnnnn! :up: Seriously, I was a vocal Henne supporter for the majority of last season until he seemed to just tank the season away in the Cleveland and Detroit games. Time heals all wounds though and after cooler heads prevailing, I think the right choice was made by giving the guy another chance. Now I'm not going to annoint him the next franchise qb because of a couple of solid preseason performances, but it's a step in the right direction.

Some of you guys are funny for sure... Saying Henne just played "decent" when he was 10/13 with the WR's having a couple of drops and the OL playing like pure garbage just shows that you will not admit that Henne is a good player or even had a good game no matter what the guy does. I can see it now, Henne goes to the pro bowl and people on this site are still screaming for the team to suck next season so the Phins can draft some unproven rookie the following year. I was a Henne supporter then lost confidence last season and when the Orton rumors started to fly I was all for that but Henne has looked good so far so what the hell... why continue to hate? I mean the best case scenario for the team is for Henne to turn into a good QB. Do some of you really not realize that?

if he makes the probowl they will still say he sucks and to show them by making it two years in a row. then, when he makes multiple probowls they'll be like meh prove it by making the HOF. there will always be another step henne has to take to "impress" these haters.

Be consistent and help this team win football games. I'm not asking for Pro Bowls and Hall of Fame inductions. If that happens, great. I don't care about that worthless crap. Marino got all of that stuff and it didn't matter to me a bit. He definitely earned it but at the end of the day, we didn't win enough for my liking.

So go out there, play well, BE CONSISTENT, win football games and get us to a Super Bowl even if you have to be "serviceable" like Mark Sanchez has been. I'm not reading your box score. That garbage is for fantasy nerds. Be consistent, and be DAMN good when it matters the most. I want to win. I don't care who does it or how they do it.
