Henne is positively progressing. Will be fine!

LOL this is the craziest thrend i ever seen. So many off the wall opinions lol

This is why I completely discount your statements. You sound bitter. You repeat the exact same statements. Even though I saw him make these mistakes during Michigan games, I am beginning to believe He did not because you keep mentioning them. I do not care about anything but his pro career. I will listen to that. Talking about Michigan is ludicrous!!!

Wow just wow! So the same mistakes he has made for 8yrs don't alarm you? Who cares what you want to believe that statement just proves you slap on your Dolphin head and would gladly eat a ****.sandwich if Ireland served it to you!

Chad "Wrong Shoulder Stare Down Bad Read" Henne is progressing? Now I've heard everything.

Don't worry guys. The All-Pro Sanchez will be on display this upcoming Monday. He will show everyone what a team with great QB play can do (chirp in junk "two AFC championship games").

The point is stop spazzing out, it's the first pre-season game with no proper training. Some people can't go on with their day without complaining about something.

I'm watching the Saints and Niners and just saw Drew make some bad throws too. Guess they must be worried in New Orleans too???

I wouldn't be worried if Henne was a 5 time pro-bowler and a Superbowl MVP. Henne's problem is that he has been a bad QB, and it appears he still is. I will agree that it's too early to judge how he will do when the season starts, but I think a lot of us want to see improvement just to give us some hope going into the season. Hard to blame people for be skeptical given his history.

If you can't see the difference between an MVP caliber, Super Bowl winning QB in Brees and a guy whose lost games involved single-handedly throwing away a game against the Detroit Lions and then getting killed by another team's backups, nobody can help you.

Drew Brees could spend the entire preseason practicing giving the snap count through farting and he'd be OK. Henne is a QB who any competent regime would have replaced in the offseason.

Unfortunately you missed my entire point which was to stop complaining for every single damn thing in the first game of the pre-season with little to no real practices.

This first game just gives all the people that have already claimed Henne will amount to nothing something to complain about, totally ignoring that fact I just mentioned at the beginning.

I mentioned Brees because he too showed rust, which IS TO BE EXPECTED, due to the little off-season there was.

I can't speak for the majority of people on this board but I for one am still reserving my judgement when there is more that needs to happen to really know what you have.

Hopefully with practice the second and third games will start to show players with less rust.

I, for one, am just crossing my fingers that we don't lose a single player due to injury during the pre-season.

Henne does not consistently show ur why he will be a good QB. He continues to remind us that he can be average. I can't believe we made little effort to get him competition yet he will still be benched for Moore.

Unless he shows us he is the man he will be replaced by Moore at some point this season. Unfortunately Moore is average so he will get yet another shot.

This will be his 2nd year as a starter and he still has shown us what we need to see. We just want a solid QB that can limit mistakes and he has yet to show us he is capable of doing this.

He's progressing to be cut!
No chance he gets cut unless injury happens which I would never wish on him or even a rival team. Don't get me wrong, he sucks and I don't want him, but we are forced to keep him for the year since we didn't bring any other decent prospects or veterans to take his place, which is the front office fault, as they lied to us and said they would bring in real competition to Henne.. If he's cut then Moore is the starter, and who ever backs up Moore will suck so bad, like Thigpen type of bad. We're in for a long season, and I think we'll still manage to win enough to get a mid level draft pick.

Progression? I am watching the Panthers and Giants replay and Jimmy Clausen is showing progression. What Chad Henne is showing is the same characteristics he has shown for 3 years.

Rob Chudzinski actually made Derek Anderson look good for a season, no surprise in seeing that he's working his magic again with Clausen.

Positivity is not blinding yourself to reality. What a ridiculous thread.

What three years??? Last time I checked he rode the bench his rookie season. Then got thrown in the fire his second year after pennington got hurt. He started for the first time in his career last season. Get off his back. Anybody want to say he did bad last year I agree but no one on this board can say he sucks. Yes he has some accuracy and decision making problems but what young quarterback doesn't?? He threw two picks last nite and he has to man up to both of them. Give him so credit though. The TD pass to hartline was on the money. I don't care if it was blown coverage or not. He recognized the defense mistake right? Earlier that drive everyone thought devone bess made a nice one handed catch. Did u see the throw?! Instead of throwing another pick Henne saw the corner reading the route threw it over him and landed it on the back shoulder of bess. One year ago no way Henne made that kind of throw. No progression? Yea right.
