I personally think henne still can be a late bloomer. With a good qb coach he can be a solid qb. Drew brees took 5-6 to finally become the superstar he is. Honestly I'd rather have henna then some of the other starting qb's out there. Colt McCoy, Blaine Gabbert, Rex grossman, John beck, John Skelton, travaris Jackson, Sanchez, Ect..... At the very worst he's a solid career backup who can come in and win a game for you off the bench. He has the tools. He was great in college. The kid wants to get better. He has his good games and his bad games but lets be honest, you know exactly what would happen if he signs with a division rival... He would come back to kick our *** year after year like every player we ever cut/trade/ waive. Like welker, jason taylor last year, rob ninkovich, he'll even Sammy Morris and Heath evans. Heath Evans came back to rush for over a hundred yards against us when we released him. I'm willing to put money on it that if Chad ever ended up as a backup in new England he would turn into a super star. Mark my words. Bellichick loves to sign our players an use them against us. Even the jets fans want Chad to come in and compete with Sanchez. It's looking like a possibility with sparano now on board to trademark his fist pump field goal celebrations in new York. Chad never had a real chance to succeed in Miami. After Pennington got hurt in 2009 and he came in and played ok the pressure was on him to become that franchise quarterback in 2010. I don't care what any of us dolphans say, we have been dying for the next Marino since he retired and every qb that we draft or sign gets tons of pressure on him from the start to succeed immediately. I know your pain, I've been guilty of it too. But the good ones get 3-4 years to learn before ever starting a real game. Like Aron Rodgers, Phillip rivers, tom Brady, big Ben. They may not all have waited 4 years but the spent their time learning for more than a year. All I'm saying is be careful what you wish for because every time we lose a player to a division rival it always seems to come back and bite us in the a**. I know because I have seen it way too many times. Cut the kid some slack. Now you haters can hate but it's just my honest dolphin loving opinion..... Go fins!!!
