It'll be funny to see junc come in here and spin Henne into this great QB that was held back by bad coaching.
Predictably, it took less than 2 pages of this thread before someone popped in with, "oh my god, Henne is going to go to the Jets and turn into a Pro-Bowler, world beater, Dan Marino type and he's going to come back and beat our butts and then we'll all be sorry." :rolleyes2: Yeah, just like Ronnie Brown this year, huh? Of course, if you really want a good laugh this morning, just look up what the Jets fans are saying about Sparano as an OC (with assorted comments about possibly acquiring Henne as a backup) and compare it to what they would have said about Sparano 5 months ago. it would be ironic, sparano was forced into having henne as his starter. he tried to find any reason he could to bench henne. now they will be stuck together like a bottle of oil and water. i wonder if the jets will go after carpenter too?

It really makes sense..I was wondering where Tony would end up since Henne really has no where connections in the pro game..Dallas made the most sense...But this makes sense too..Tony is from NJ I am sure he wants to go home and I bet Bill gave him a ringing endorsement for the Jets job. Imagine if Henne goes there and beats out Sanchez? That would be something..Doubt it happens but you never know..Maybe the Jets bring back Braylon Edwards too.
