but i wouldnt be surprised if the yets poach a bunch of our guys, when the new coach throws them out with the trash for no good reason.

my enthusiasm for the rivalry may very well be lessened this offseason due to my dislike for ross/fisher at this point and my like for certain against all odds type fins players that could wind up on the jets.

not to start an on going argument, do you think any pro athlete especially a QB on a 2 year contract with a new team would ever consider any game "meaningless"? The games were unfortunately meaningless pretty much once they went into an 0-4 hole with Henne which is not Moore's fault

and to the same point, you say Moore won "meaningless" games which is fine, but what does that make Sanchez who LOST the MEANINGFUL games, especially the last one that mattered most against Moore who was playing a "meaningless" game? The QB who had everything to play for vs the QB who had "nothing" to play for according to you, and the QB who had everything to play for had 3 interceptions and for the most part lost the game for his team

Sparano is a great excuse to bring henne over there, he's the perfect level of competition for sanchez, which is what they've wanted.

I wrote a month ago that Henne would likley end up in the AFC EAST I never expected Sparano to be in the EAST too

If Henne had a contract he would be the obvious back up in 2012 but with Moore signed you can say see ya later to Henne - still completely plausible that he backs up in Buffalo or even Pat land

Sparano to the Jests concerns me a little... He knows this teams weaknesses (not necessarily it's strengths obviously) and could exploit them. Henne would likely replace Sanchez by week 5 and consistantly get them into Fist Pump range. Hopefully our new coach will play to win rather than playing for Fist Pumps or we could see some boring, low scoring division rival games.

I'm very sure that Sparano was able to recognize the Dolphins' major weakness-- he saw it every morning in the mirror. As for the team's other weaknesses, I suppose that's for the incoming regime to figure out.

Would much rather have Henne as the Dolphins backup QB than on the Jets or Patriots or Bills.
Face it. Even though he had many bad games, he's also had some very good ones (e.g. 2011 opening game vs the Patriots).
Just don't want those very good ones to be against the Dolphins.
