Herbert Chokes Again

well I wouldn’t put it all on Herbert tbh, yes he does overthrow receivers and can be a bit erratic in the crunch

But every time I watch the bolts it blows my mind how poorly coached they are, Staley is literally shaving points off of his offense every god damn game to the ridiculous point of even Troy aikman makes fun of him

They are very poorly coached. However, the reason I didn’t want Herbert in the draft was his last game in college. Bowl game, complete choke job. Couldn’t handle the big stage. I figured he would be a complete bust because every NFL game is the big stage. I was wrong. He’s a really good QB. He just doesn’t have the mental fortitude. Keenan Allen had to calm him down yesterday. He was completely rattled.

Man, the hate Herbert now is like Tua in reverse. The same people who were crapping on Tua last year are now blasting Herbert.
Herbert has a dumb coach and it rubbing off on him. Herbert would be better if he was in Cincy or the Dolphins with a better OC.
I guess it was his coaches fault that he threw his last pass directly to the Cowboys defensive back. I don’t hate Herbert but he is no Tua and never has been. He is a slightly above mediocre QB who has a strong arm but consistently fails to make plays when the game is on the line.

He held the ball a while and pressure caved in on him, making that a very difficult attempt. Not making an excuse, it just looked that way...bad clutch, he should get a power-glide.

Some can focus on more than one thing at once.
Hmmmm
A team and a QB is not something fin fans really need to focus on
I guess if it makes you feel better have at it
But after what we’ve seen out of Tua this year I see why people need to feel vindicated
A moot point at this point in their careers

Interesting. You seem to lack any semblance of irony. Are you not in fact joining another thread to start yet another pointless argument? It seems like these arguments are some source of personal pleasure otherwise why do it over and over and over like you do? Might be something to look into. All the best to you sir.

That alone says plenty. - LOL

That is a bit unkind to Herbie. He didn't choke for a second when signing his 5 year $262.5M contract ($218M fully guaranteed) with the Chargers.
BTW - we may have to spend that sort of money for Tua's contract although there may be a slight discount because he doesn't have the lofty height of Herbie to see over the O-line.

Apparently, he doesn't need to. - LOL
