I wonder if the media believes half of the stuff they write or do they just try to stir the "pot".
:rofl3:Ricky Williams has always been a productive football player whenever he carried the ball. When he was running for the Dolphins, they were an above-.500 team despite the coaching of Dave Wannstedt.
Wrong. Ricky intentionally flunked his test(i.e. he could have masked it, but didnt care to play the charade any longer). He had his mind made up about wanting to take some time away from the coaches/game before the results came out. It was possible that it would be permanent hiatus, but in this case it wasnt. And it is part of the job, they can fire him and he can walk out the door like just like any other business in the world. They would NOT have given him notice. So the Dolphins/fans/coworkers were not entitled to receive one either. Not on the business side of things at least.Megatron said:Had to be repeated.

I don't see how it's dishonest for him not to say "hey everybody, I'm smoking dope." If he didn't say anything, how could he have been lying? It would have been dishonest if he had denied it when accused like many in MLB. Which, I think, is the point the author was trying to make.

Besides, taking making agents to give false results on a drug test is a lie in and of itself.
Ah, you must be Ricky's brother. I must've forgotten that you can read his brainwaves from a distance. Yuppie Bills fan :evil:Ricky Williams did not leave football because he "got religion". He didn't leave to "find himself" or because football wasn't "fun". He left because he found dope -- or more precisely, because the NFL found out he had found dope!
