As a matter of fact, your record was 4-32 (or something like that) before you begged Parcells to turn around your team (which he did at the time he was hired)..... Begged? He was under contract w/ New England and left to come to us, we didn't beg him.
You were 1-15 and nearly were 0-16, as bad as our 1-15 was we didn't flirt w/ 0-16.
Parcells COACHED us, you get Parcells as a GM type which he is medicore at best at. We KNEW we were turning things around b/c he was coaching, you guys THINK you are turning it around like you thought so under the last 2 HC's.
How can you be 1-15 and say you did NOT flirt with 0-16? I would say losing HALF of your schedule before week 9 would be considered flirting as well.
Please get over yourself. You guys hired Parcells and HOPED he would turn things around just like we HOPE he will turn things around here, regardless of the position he holds. You can't compare our franchises. You have owned us recently...fine. Teams are bad, then they are good, that's how it works. But your tattered, pathetic, crappy, losing franchise can never accomplish what we have done since becoming part of the NFL.
We won our lone game in OCTOBER, you guys waited until December. We weren't close to going 0-16.
We KNEW he would turn us around b/c he was coaching and everyone in the league KNEW he would turn us around. Things are different this time b/c he is not coaching.
All we need is 1 SB win and we tie you for SB wins so please don't act like you are SF, Dallas or Pitt.

The '07 Fins could've just as easily been a 4-5 win team with as many close games as they played. As far as point differential goes, the '07 Phins got outscored by 170 points, the '96 Jets got outscored by 175 points. It's hard to argue that the '07 Phins were any worse than the '96 Jets.

We could have easily won 4-5 in 1996. We lost a close game at Miami, a close game to NYG, got screwed in DC on a game changing would be TD that they ruled an INT, lost a close game at Jax, NE, at Indy, Philly and Miami. Bad teams lose close games. The difference is we had Rich Kotite coaching us, that team had ALOT of talent(alot more than you have now) and that's why parcells was able to turn us around so quickly.
