I really expected them to be aggressive filling glaring holes but it looks like (to me) they have done just enough to meet a minimum grade. I do like the picks (I although there were smarter CB options than Finnagen)

I don't want them to waste money BUT I would rather them use the remaining money to sign a 4 Mil lineman for 5 mil than have them sign a 3 mil guy for 2.5 mil. Maybe someone should send them a message letting them know what you have under the cap doesn't count towards your final standing or playoff eligibility.

If Tannehill takes 40+ sacks again this year it's firmly on Hickey and Philbin. If we lose a couple games because Sturgis shanks a couple chip shots its on Hickey and Philbin.

And before anyone brings up build through the draft they might realize that this is 2014 and not 1995, rookie salaries are set and what rookies we sign has zero, zilch...notta bit of relationship on who we sign in free agency as long as we have 6 mil or so which we easily have (about 24 mil at this point I believe)

I'm sure things can change but I'm feeling time is ticking down on those few starter grade players we can pick up.

Kinda, sorta have to agree with you there. I was looking for more bodies on the OL.

a solid MLB would help, but we still have the draft so lets reserve judgement until then. Still some players left out there.

I dont think they expected some of these guys to get the money they got. Sign wade smith and draft a rt

18 mil in use it or lose it rollover for 2014. would like to see as many 1 year prove it deals as possible. this roster needs serious turnover.

Other than RT and OG....what "glaring" holes do we have that have to be filled right now in FA? I think the front office is trying to find a mix of free agents and rookies to keep us from getting into a bad financial situation. Still lots of time left and a second round of free agency plus the draft. Ask the Eagles how trying to "buy" a team through free agency worked out for them.

We signed a LT and OG who "should" be able to start. I also think they will sign another depth OL vet like McKinnie before FA is over. I don't like the Finnegan deal at all if it is really $11M over 2 yrs, when Carroll got under $4M. As of now we prob draft LB and OT in first 2 rounds. Outside of getting Strief who they tried to get, not sure what else you wanted them to do.

I think you should just shut up and stop speaking the truth about our team. Truth hurts and YOU knew that before you said it.lol

No better than any other year. Just another off season. Last year didn't work out but, it was damn sure exciting last offseason. I agree, at this point I'd rather overpay and get a return than underpay and save money.

People confused activity with competence when Branden Albert was signed, and now they're confusing inactivity with incompetence. So it goes...

Which of the remaining free agent offensive linemen do you suggest they sign that would be an upgrade over what we had last year?

If Tannehill is sacked over 40 times this season it will be because he is doing something wrong.

I have bashed every decision/move this Front office for as long as I can remember(Rightfully so imo) but trutfhully up untill now i have had very minimal issues with how Hickey has handled Free Agency.
We are nowhere close to being done in FA and the draft hasnt happened yet..so i am in a wait and see mode right now.
