The Dolphins have been marred in mediocrity for so long that it almost seems impossible they will ever escape the cycle of average football. It is my belief that in order to truly move forward and rebuild a once great franchise a team needs to hit rock bottom. I though they did that several years ago when they went 1-15, but apparently that was not the case. Whatever side you are on in this latest “issue” it could be what is needed to finally move this franchise forward. Hitting rock bottom truly allows for the opportunity to begin anew.

Like most I am not happy about the situation as it takes away from the product on the field and there was something to be excited about. A young, talented QB developing, excellent defensive line play, and playmakers on defense, but this topic will consume us for the foreseeable future. My hope is that Ross recognizes this and seizes the opportunity to completely rid this team of personnel that is left over from the Parcells era and remake the franchise. Unfortunately people like Philbin may be a may be a casualty in this, but it may be the only way to restore our beloved Dolphins to prominence

We are somehow 4-4 despite all the crap that's going on. We actually must have some talent on this team to not be at the bottom of the league as dysfunctional as we appear to be in the locker room. I would argue that we were really close to being good, and this B.S is dragging down what could have been a pretty good team and season. Rock bottom is the wrong direction. As a Dolphins fan, after the way the season started with us at 3-0, it feels like we went to the bar and picked up the hottest woman in the place only to find out she was a he. Rock bottom sucks.

How in the world does this belong at the top of national news? Man, something is going to be done. There is too much bad press for it not to be. Just a shame it has come to this.

It does suck and I wanted more then anything to finally see this team turn the corner and they looked that way, but with the issues on the field (poor play calling, crappy line play, draft picks not panning out) and now the issues off the field....it doesn't sit well

Didn't we already do that 7 times or so in the past 10 years?? Doesn't seem to help.

No. We're not quite there yet.

But soon.

You mean it can get worse than Wannstedt? Worse than Ray Lucus? Worse than Satan abandoning us? Worse than Cam Cam? Worse than Ted Ginn and his family? Worse than John Beck? Worse than 1-15? Worse than Meatball and his cornfed crownies? Worse than Chad Henne? Worse than this whole fiasco?

SO HELP US GOD!!!

It can, and the way this organization is run, it will.

Rock bottom? I wouldn't wish that upon our team ever nor do I think we are anywhere near there regardless of this situation. How about this, lets actually try hoping the Fins win and do well? Crazy I know, but it just might work

A GM who can't draft, a coaching staff who let the Martin/Incognito situation happen, a franchise who purges any respectable leader on the team and allows incognito to be the team's new leader....that is mismanagement at its finest...

this whole thing is so stupid....jon martin is the definition of wuss...it's hard to fathom this guy could ever play football...

unreal really...that mnf pregame is not going on my dvr i know that much...talk about nauseating speculation and overkill...i literally loathe jon martin right now...what a fem
