Well Hoops and I agree. So basically the world is going to end. Probably a giant asteroid headed our way. All kidding aside I would trust Hoops to draft and fill talent 478291929293 times more than Grier.
Yes they did. They got gashed by two long runs and that’s about it.Yes, but they didnt play well in game 1.
maybe youre right, i didnt watch the game.Yes they did. They got gashed by two long runs and that’s about it.
And that was the point. The Chargers’ offensive line is bullying other teamsYes, but they didnt play well in game 1.
Trust me. The Raiders defense is really good. They are about as fundamentally sound assignment wise as any defense you will see. They were thought to be a bad team because of their offense and their QB situation, but they are going to be competitive in every game.maybe youre right, i didnt watch the game.
From all reports, people thought the Raiders were one of the worst teams in the league and gave them no shot against the Ravens.
But like I said, I havent studied them.
Instead, spend 10 minutes coming up with and posting absolutely nothing to do with the thread but only to dismiss the post of another
yep, complaining about the many messiahs on the board who, apparently, litter the board with thousands of meaningless words while saying, "Life's too short to waste on complaining." ...
ok cool![]()
The break dancers as some analysts have called them lol. Miami should have the australian break dancer be the mascot for them haBecause you can't bring a dance class to a football game and expect to win ...
I like mike in the sense he seems like a good dude and has a sense of humor. And while I initially found his press conferences amusing. He kind of drives me crazy or my patience wearing away. It's so hard to listen to his damn interviews or speeches now as he speaks so damn drawn out and slowly. Something that shouldn't take so long to get to the point, seems to talk a damn half hour for him to get to the point. But do you see him as a disciplinarian? a coach who holds players accountable? As an approachable but no-nonsense kind of guy?
Because this is a hard-nosed, physical game, not a talent show.
His approach to the media is tenuous and careful ...
His answers are slow/cautious maybe with some thought behind them ... not readily on his mind
is it the same with the players?
Am I an expert or even qualified to judge these characteristics? Hell no. But I have eyes and I'm not without some common sense.... like all of you.
People project who they are through their actions. He doesn't project a persona that says, "Don't tread on me."
Instead, it's more like "Welcome to Fantasy Island." ... (some of you may need to google the reference lol)
the sheep follow the shepherd.![]()
which is why he needs to be goneHoops I agree, but here’s the thing if Grier would have drafted interior OL , it actually would have made a difference but like usual Grier doesn’t know how to draft or build a roster the right way.
Suggestion — create an area on the site called:
Shet on the Dolphins.
Move discussions like this one into that area. That way the reader knows what he is getting when he clicks on the post.
Create a “rest room” area, where knowitalls can post “constructive” stuff and shet all they like on the team, like that which is posted here. Some of us don’t want to use the restroom when we visit the site.
Pretending to be “constructive” while shetting on the team is not constructive.
This post took about five minutes to compose.![]()
IOW, Tennessee built a team with a strong foundation (defense, o-line, and running game), and then were able to win with a QB like Tannehill. OTOH, Philbin took over a team with a decent foundation, but neutered it with his finesse philosophy, so Tannehill was not able to have the same level of success. The Titans were built around Derrick Henry and a tough defense. The Dolphins were built around Tannehill. Tannehill can follow Henry to the playoffs but not lead the Dolphins to the same.
True but how many people as far as analysts and scouts were raving over cj stroud like he was a generational guy? I mean he was liked just like any 1st rd top 5 qb, but I don't think any expected him to be as good as he is. Sometimes it goes accordingly and other times it goes like this. I mean look at Trevor lawrence. It's early but part of me wonders if caleb will remain like a qb that has a hard time staying in the pocket to deliver or his instincts of leaving the pocket haunts him for his nfl career. It's very early. I saw someone post something of jaxson Dart who does look like an intruiging qb and one who seems he'd fit in very well with mike's system but is athletic and can play off script, is taller and bigger than tua with an above average armTank for who? There’s no qb that I’ve seen yet this yr in college that screams hall of famer
Sure. The QB who led the league in passer rating was just along for the ride. The Titans were built around Derrick Henry and a tough defense. The Dolphins were built around Tannehill. Tannehill can follow Henry to the playoffs but not lead the Dolphins to the same.
Winning makes almost anyone likable or at the very least tolerable. Look at Beli, he always came across like a db yet winning consistently eases the d in the bag.I like mike in the sense he seems like a good dude and has a sense of humor.
