How can anyone say frerotte was bad

Incorrect assessment. It was Feeley in the first game that was throwing 10 yd passes first and looking for the dinks second. It was Frerotte who was dinking and dunking in the first game. What did that get Feeley - the bench. Feeley learned quick after that

Feeley hasn't learned anything "quick" in his life......well I stand corrected, he learned from the craddle how to throw picks for TDs. :shakeno:

I didn't see the game, just read about it, but how come none of you Gus supporters are mentioning the fumbles he had. Ignoring it aren't you? Thats what I thought. Please don't choose to ignore his huge mistakes, regardless of the blitzing. He screwed up bad. Now let Feeley practice with the first team and play the first half of the next game before we start comparing who is the better quaterback. I still say bringin in Couch is worth a shot.

Watch the game b4 making such a statement. It wasn't like he dropped the ball, he was hit while throwing. :shakeno:

I will say that he was not better than Feely.

Then I would have to ask what game you were watching.

No, Frerotte was not bad, he was awful. He was way off the mark all night. The throw to Booker was a jump ball. It wasn't a good pass. Not many of his passes were. In fact the guy really hasn't made that many great passes all pre-season. His biggest play, was on a play he should have gotten sacked for a safety and threw the ball up and Chambers made a nice catch. His lone TD came on a pass that admittedly sipped out of his hand and could have just as easily been an INT. The guy has done nothing to show he is a starting QB. AJ hasn't done much either but, he hasn't looked as bad as Frerotte. I was hoping Frerotte would come in last night and do something to show he was a starting caliber QB, but he sure did anything but that.

That is a mistake. He should have eaten that ball and kicked the fieldgoal. Trying to make a play there can only end bad.

If Booker didn't go up for the ball and the DB did, then yes he is lazy.

Booker DID go up for teh ball, I actually though the DB was close to interference, he was on Bookers shoulders and knocked the ball away. If Booker didnt get up then yes, but he did. He got up and went for teh ball, the DB got higher, it aint laziness, the db has better vertical leap. McMike lost concentration on 2 passes IMO. Yeap cant have it and it hurt drives. Doesnt change the fact that Gus had too many bad passes.

Which is the same that hurt AJ for last year he was lambasted for. Be consistent in your evaluation not just what supports your argument. the pressure came from his front side, he needs to be aware of it. Tho I dont place all the blame on him, McMike got planted. WHo ever told McMike you block a full speed rushing LB standing straight up at a stand still shouldnt be coaching. Bad mechanics got Randy put on his arse.
