I'm making my first trip to Miami to see a Dolphins home game against the Chiefs this fall. I've been to several Dolphins games at other venues, most commonly Baltimore twice - Last January was the last game. I've researched other teams, and it seems tough to get tickets to other teams, there's a waiting list for many teams, however it alway seems like you can get Dolphins tickets easy. Also on television, the stadium always looks half empty at times, especially the start of the third quarter. Are sellouts common in Miami???

I'm hoping it's crowded and loud, becuase I know when I'm at a stadium like Baltimore, it is lloooouuudd at full capacity when we are in town. I just want to have that same experience in Dolphins Stadium. Looking forward to mingling with Dolphins fans. It will be nice to be on the other side if the spectrum, instead of me being an opposing teams fan in a hostile stadium with all my Dolphins gear on, people throwing peanuts at me...lol

The stadium gets pretty packed but last year that wasn't the case... I hope that this year is different, and the begining of the third is empty because everyone is buying their last Beers because they stop selling Beer at the beginning of the Third Quarter. It gets pretty loud and crazy when our D is playing really well, like when we played New England and beat them, THE STADIUM WENT INSANE!!! So Im not too sure but I hope it gets loud, there is nothing like cheering for your team with the rest of the Dolfans.

Nothing like The Orange Bowl used to be,that was a home field
advantage!!!!

I hate the beer-getters in Tampa. It seems to me that they care more about the beer than anything happening on the field, judging by how little time many spend actually in their seats watching the game. I don't know why they don't save money and just pop a twelve pack with some friends at home and save their money.

I was there too. It was cold as crap that day.The other time... was that when Dan was still on the team ? I was at that one too.

Dolphins stadium gets loud sometimes, late arrivivg crowd sometimes also. It's true nothing beat or beats the OB!!!!!!! Hope both r LOUD this year
GO FINS
GO CANES

Bring a water spray bottle!! Mine has one of those little fan's on the front.
I have saved lives with that thing, and made many friends on those sweltering afternoons in Dolphin's stadium!!!

have you ever been in an empty field at night with the crickets chirping? Thats about as loud as it gets outside of Jets, pats, and bills.

The stadium is designed poorly for noise, it does get loud but the orange bowl is off the hook. Compare last years game to the 84 bears game in the OB, you couldn't even hear the annoucers on tv that game was so loud!

That's awesome bro- I'll be at that game too!! I just got my tickets in the mail on Wednesday- and typically, Joe Robbie can be very loud. Not as loud as some other NFL stadiums and not as loud as I'd like it to be, but still loud nonetheless.

the stadium gets sold out quite often and it can hold over 75,000

As a long time season ticket holder here are my thoughts:

The good news is that the stadium is always sold out. Also, that it is a nice clean facility.

The bad news it that it is nothing like the OB for noise and atmosphere. It is just too spread out.

The food is the worst you are likely to ever have at a Pro sporting event.

At the beginning of the 3rd quarter, it is usually more than half empty, as you have to wait all of halftime just to get a beer. If you also have to go to the bathroom, you might as well go home.

The crowd starts to leave at the beginning of the 4th quarter.

I remember it well.

Even louder was a Monday night game against the Eagles in the early 80's. They came in with like a 10-1 record and were beaten by the Dolphins.

At one point the game was stopped for over 7 minutes due to continuous, deafening, fan noise.

I was hoarse for 3 days.

The stadium doesnt get incredibly loud. The problem is that at every game... there are a **** load of fans for the away team because the people that live in south florida are from all over the country. Especially teams from up north... It gets loud... but not an extreme homefield advantage kinda loud...
