Let me add a different perspective on this as well.
As part of the crowd in a packed house, Dolphins Stadium can get pretty damn loud. Obviously not as loud as a dome, but still loud.
Now, if you ever get a chance to be on the sidelines during a packed game, for lack of a better term, it's a different kind of loud.
When your part of the crowd, it's really an abrupt cheer that you are a part of. When your on the field, it's like a wave of noise that moves toward and around you. It's hard to describe, but since you are not part of the cheering when on the field, the manor in which you hear it all around you can leave you in awe. It's like a fast moving wave of cheering that engulfs you almost instantly.
