how come no ones talking about pouncey in this whole debacle? hes supposed to be one of the best players on the team and a leader and instead of defusing the situation or telling the others to back off, he throws gasoline on the fire. how hard would it have been for him to stand up for martin? the guy is a dirtbag just like cogs and jerry. this whole franchise is a disgrace....

This is what I don't understand....how did Pouncey & Jerry skate while Incognito was suspended? Martin's attorney chose to use the voicemail because ig was the quickest, easiest route to get the public on Martin's side, yet Pouncey & Jerry were full participants in this all along.

Richie acts like a clownish ahol (this is his security blaket) and has a history opf mental problems (it appears Martin was developing some Mental issues himself, or had some already) Richies date back to St Louis -> mental issues does not absolve anyone of this childhood behaviour, but Richie was trying to have fun, Martin his family truly were snakes
I do not value Richie's way to have fun, but he genuienly insulted and still thinks he has done virtually no wrong, he is a giant teenager with money, insensitivity training will profit him nothing -
Put these two on Oprah and they would blame everyone but themselves

yeah i did read the report and this whole thing could have been avoided if pouncey would have stood up for martin. i blame his cause hes the man on that line, he may be the best player on the team. hes supposed to lead by example...instead we have this situation.

I agree that someone should have stood up and taken some kind of leadership role but it was never going to be Pouncey. He's tight as hell with Aaron Hernandez and the report makes him sound like he took his lead from Incognito. That tells me two things... the guy ain't his own man, and the guy is a crappy judge of character. If someone offered us a first or a high second for him, I'd be fine if we jumped on it. I think holding onto him is a gamble because we have no idea what's going to go down with that stuff they subpoenaed him on. I wouldn't be shocked if he found himself in a cell for a stretch at some point. I'm not wishing it on him, but I'm starting to think he's too stupid to make good decisions.

While Ritchie may not be the most innocent guy. Martin was just as guilty. It was locker room hijinks and shouldn't have gone past locker room. As I am sure same has happened in many other locker rooms. Martin needs to grow a pair and get of his mommy's breast! I will be glad when this is all over and Martin is out of NFL working at 7-11. Biggest wuss I have ever seen!
All this and we are still mediocre the ties that bind this team must be stronger than those who try to break it. Find the players that are there to play a **** the rest.

I will stand by my original thoughts and have not varied. I think Incognito is pure and simply a big bully,that to me is stil the casr,PLAIN and SIMPLE. He's an asshole,I always feelt this way,and again,still do ! Even before I knew Pouncey was even involved this deep,I had always had negative feelings about him and wondered if in some way he was involved. From his hanging with Hernandez,backing him ,and honestly to me,it just seems like a punk ass attitude all the time that he has.
I honestly even still wonder what Pouncey may have really known even when it comes to what Hernandez may have even done.especially in the first incident they think he )Hernandez) may have ben involved in. I hope Pouncey isnt involved or knows so much he gets implicated,but one things for sure,he better start watching his steps,he's getting very close to not only getting the bad rep that Incognito does,he is tip towing borderline legal issues and that wih law enforcement as well.

If you fellas think this is bad you would never make it in the military now and definitely not 10 years ago. Hell I hear more than what was said in my office and I'm not even in maintenance or a cop. Martin is a BIG *****. So as others have said, the continuance of the pusification of America. Keep giving up you rights and bitching about dumb **** folks, worry about that color you don't like and want taken out of school or removing god from the dollar bill......We'll be taken over by China in 10 years cause no one wants their feeling hurt....

I've heard people saying we'll be taken over by China since I was a little kid in the 60s. Silly hyperbole.
For several years Richie Incognito was voted by players across the NFL, as its Dirtiest Player. As Dolphin fans, many of us chuckled that our man, Richie (he was never a boy), really had a special gift for getting under the skin of his competitors. Now, as more details emerge from the golf incident, the diatribe of profane and bigoted texts and the treatment of the Asian assistant trainer, we get a clearer message why Richie kept on winning the award. Maybe his bipolar sociopath tendencies made him unsuitable to be the O-line team leader to mentor young players. The good Richie, bad Richie description seems pretty accurate. Turner, as O-line Coach should have been monitoring the situation much closer and definitely not fueling it.
I am still of the belief that Jake Long was better able at keeping Richie in check and his departure to St Louis is when things unravelled. My hunch is that Jake was the one guy in the locker room who Richie respected. I can see Richie being suspended by the NFL. He's lucky the girl from the golf day incident didn't press charges with the police. The $30K payoff was a joke. The effort to suppress the incident and subsequent $50K fine by the team should have been flagged to the NFL that Richie was out of control.
Can anyone remember the advertisement that Richie did at the Palm Beach Croquet Club where he is the spokesman for proper behavior off the field? It was a great ad but now seems pretty ironic given the swathe of behavior related incidents that now surface.

To think that Martin is a victim is ludicrous. Cogs is/was not a victim either but I'm not going to say poor Martin. I pity the guy tho since he's so weak mentaly. If he wants to go cry to his mom then fine, let him go and stay with her but to bring a whole team down? I hope he never plays another down in the NFL.
