Not to mention his lack of complete cooperation with the investigation. Granted, i know he was "fighting" for his job, but misleading the investigators was shortsighted in the extreme.

Almost everything that was reporting was easily verifiable. Claiming to "not remember" buying the sex toys for "player A" and saying he never even heard, much less spoke about, the Judas fine was idiotic, those things were done publicly and were fairly memorable. I did get a kick out of the guy who preached at Martin to "be a man and do the right thing" refusing to be completely honest though, thats always good for a laugh.

edit: Oh, and lying to Philbin about the language used in the locker room. Good call there Turner.
 
there's no doubt cogs gone over the line here but i bet if martin didn't play like a dumpster fire the first half the season this probably doesn't happen...that kids got issues and cog does also

lose em both...better off without em...start new up front

we are not even losing anything good...take jerry with em...he's a horrible fit for the scheme anyways

Pressing a guy to make a statement that is in the Looney Bin is garbage! Especially when you have no clue what happened who was right or wrong! Turner is a **** coach and should be fired unfortunately it took this report to hopefully get it done because our clueless hc wasn't going to do it.

Sending those texts were potentially damaging for the team. It was immediately clear how volatile this situation was, he had to have known those things would come back up. Martin admitted that he was being advised not to respond. Turner kept bothering him for another couple of days.

Any semi-intelligent human being had to know that could come back to bite him. And if he was confused, he could have asked Philbin or another experienced coach. And if he didnt want to talk to them, he could have talked to our legal council. And if he didnt want to talk to them, he could have talked to his agent. And if he still didnt want to involve any of them, i have no doubt the league office would have provided some advice for him. Basically, he didnt lack for people to turn to.

Even if Turner had good intentions and generally wanted everything patched up, he should have kept his mouth shut. Even if it didnt turn out to be all the damaging, it could have easily made the situation worse.

Incognito is below trash. What kind of man continues to harass someone after he acknowledged to you that he is suicidal? That is about as low as it gets. Wherever he has played he has been a problem. There is a reason he has been let go from 4 or 5 teams. If you ask me, this guy needs as much, if not more help than Martin.

IMO Richie is the true snake, he manipulated texts to give the impression he was a caring friend at the same time he was showing his true colors to Pouncey, he leaked more info to the press than Martin did and now we know all of his "I thought we were friends" bull**** was just that bull****.....we now know he was trying to make the kid crack, we now know he was trying to make another OL player crack, while the OL was having the worst yr in memory.....and probably the worst move he made was days before the report he took to twitter to torment his victim one last time for ****s and giggles.....he is truly a bad person and anyone who signs him should be fired on the spot....

If anyone still believes that Martin just randomly released the couple of racially inflammatory texts out of 1000plus, that he just didn't have the time to meet with a union that has both parties best interests in mind, stormed put of a prank setting where just 2 weeks before he was the victimizer and all the sudden, just coincidentally after being demoted and less of a teammate by missing meeting either for spite or because he was drug addled and either obsessed with killing himself or not. ..that he's anything but a conniving victimized - no matter whatever they tthink of Incognito, then I have a bridge I can sell them cheap!!!!

Turner will be fired for allowing members of his OL to be bullied, how can a coach allow and participate in this, then lie during the investigation to try to save his own ass. He will get what he deserves a lifetime ban from the NFL.......

When this first went down, I was sure it was not racially motivated and that Richie was an ass not a racist.....I was wrong, it didn't have anything to do with race but Richie is a racist.....

Incognito and a former Dolphins offensive lineman, who is white, communicated about purchasing guns, apparently for recreational purposes. (We identify this former Dolphin as Player B.) The discussion veered into jokes about shooting black people:

Player B: Especially if u plan living in Arizona in the future, that's exactly what you want

Incognito: Yea. For picking off zombies

Player B: Lol isn't that why we own any weapons!?

Incognito: That and black people

Player B: Mmm def all black ppl

Four days later, Incognito and Player B discussed rifle scopes in text messages.

Player B: Yes. That's a solid optic made specifically for a .308 battle rifle

Incognito: Perfect for shooting black people

Player B: Lol exactly

Player B: Or Jeff Ireland

Well said, and if I was the commissioner I would suspend him indefinitely.....he played his last game if it was my decision
