How many us watch every play of the season?

  • I am not a Dolphins fan, so why would I watch any games or highlights?

i haven't missed a game since the 1981 season (if you count listening on radio for blacked out games i didn't attend). probably missed a snap here or there over the years. i also dvr every game and will usually watch it again (or several times) to watch different positions, etc, prior to the following week's game.

Last game i missed was when Number 13 got hurt...... :( haven't missed a game since.

But back in the old days before Sunday Ticket and streaming, not missing a game could of been waiting for TV updates of the game.....but since people have been streaming the games since 05 i have not missed a game since then.

i watch every game and make a trip down to miami once a year to watch them play. this year i will be going to two away games instead and saving some $

I have Sunday Ticket, so by mid august it's Dolphins sunday.... No party, meeting, reunion, wedding gets in the way!!! I haven't missed a snap for at least 7 years

Something else, I always tend to stand instead of sit while I watch our Dolphins. I'm real jealous of some of y'alls dedication by the way. My friends know me as a real die hard Phin fan but compared to some of y'all I'm just a Roberto Wallace.

Just curious how many Dolphins fans actually watch the entire Dolphins season compared to those who don't. How much of the Dolphins do you typically get to see each year? If you have season tickets, you might go to every home game and probably get to see away games on local TV stations. If you have Sunday Ticket(like myself) odds are you get to see most if not every play during the course of a season. Some live out of state and only get to see a couple of games, but most probably just rely on internet highlights of just a few plays of the game. Others just don't have the time(for various reasons) or can't commit to sitting down and watching the Dolphins every week.

There are a lot of comments like "__________ is going to be great based on what I saw last year" or "___________ is going to suck based on what I saw last year", but how much did you see to "base on what you saw last year"? How much of what you think of the Dolphins is from your own eyes, or do you have to rely on the information from others(ESPN, NFL Network, FinHeaven fans, etc.) to make your final judgement? Just curious to see the results and your opinions below.

Personally, with Sunday Ticket I watch every snap. Though I do make at least one trip down to Miami every year to watch them in person and I did miss one play last season during the opening game against the Patriots. Tried to make a quick trip to the bathroom but the line was longer than I had originally anticipated.

Welcome to the offseason when threads like this are made.

i watch every game on nfl sunday ticket i have prob 250 - 400 vhs tapes of Marino bk when he played so i get in every game , and it has to be just about life or death B 4 i miss a game , and imo i just dont ever remember missing a game .

I watch every snap, plus watch two other games every Sunday (one being the night game) and always watch MNF. Might not be much of a life for some but to me, it's so enjoyable. Can't wait for football season to start.

When i can find a feed for my computer i watch all the games, even when some of the games dont even start till 01.30am.............

I watch every game I can, but I can't get dish where I'm at, and I'm no longer local.

Some real great stories, thanks for sharing.

I live in Australia and our local TV networks only play 3 games a week. However, for the last two years I've been able to watch every game thanks to NFL Game Pass. In 2010 I got the Miami only games but last year I got the complete season pass, so I was able to watch other games as well.

I was fortunate enough to be sent to Miami in 2008 for a work conference. What a magical year that was. I stayed for a few extra days and saw us beat the 49ers at home. Awesome.

Looking forward to 2012 - bring it on!!!

Missed 2 games in the last 42 years excluding the strike season.

I have Sunday ticket so I dont miss too much of the action, sometimes I'll flip to another game if I'm pissed off at the way the game is going. Not for long though because I always think they'll win...lol . Being from Canada however I only got to see them when they played the Jets or Bills or Monday Night Football from 1970 til about 7 or 8 years ago. But I'm as big a fan as there is!

I live in Mexico city and since Sky/NFL ticket is available here I don´t miss a game; with the record option in HD I can avoid any "family conflict" during Sundays. Also my 16 year old son loves football so we have a 2 to 1 advantage...

When the Dolphins are on, that is the only game I care about. I watch other games at different kickoff times(aka the 4:00 games) but the Dolphins are always my priority.

Oh, they're certainly the top priority, but I'm also a football fan in general. I'm usually watching it at Third and Long here in New York surrounded by other Dolphins fans and by other TVs, so I have the opportunity (and capability) to multitask and watch other games at the same time. This is particularly useful when the Phins are still in the hunt for the playoffs and I get to see other games that impact their chances. Granted, that ended extremely quickly last year.
