CK signs a 6 year $110M deal but, with a $12M signing bonus, Cuttler get 3 years at $54M, and Scheffter projects Luck and Wilson to get $24-25M a year after this season. Dalton, Smith and Newton are also in the works, with RG 3 and Tannehill having something to prove this season.

BIG year for RT, as well as the Dolphins, in MANY ways. What's he gonna be worth?

It's interesting to me because Tannehill's now under a new GM regime. I wonder how much more (or less) there is to prove to Hickey that Tannehill can be the guy going forward, and be paid like such?

2014 can make Ryan a very rich man, if he performs at a high level. Mediocre play will get him paid but not R Wilson numbers.

That's a great question. If he has a good season we would have to consider giving him what Kap signed for. I don't care what he is paid as long as we win during the regular season and the playoffs. I don't want to have an overpaid QB like Flacco and not be able to afford to put the right pieces around him.

It was interesting that SF only gave him a $12M signing bonus, which is VERY low on a long term deal. It gives them a lot more cap flexability, as well as a much cheaper out a few years down the line without the accelerated bonus to worry about. I think they set a standard for what contracts most young QB's will see.

I can only pray that this is true. I thought I heard that he's getting 60 guaranteed. That's a lot off a small sample size in my eyes. All of those guys are good players getting great player coin.

in before someone hopes for another 7-9 8-8 season to avoid the huge contract... he wouldn't get more than 8 per if i was hickey. wouldn't pay him Kaepernick money.... not yet. That deal is crazy

Based on body of work, Wilson and Luck should be on power-drive towards record-breaking contracts. IMO for Tannehill and RG3, this will be a make or break year as far as movin on up to that Eastside deluxe apartment in the sky.

Hopefully more than the AR-15 his "responsible" gun-owning wife left in the back of that rental car.

Jesus, Christ. There's another forum for comments like this. Try not to derail a legit thread with your personal agendas. I hate seeing **** like this no matter what the opinion is.

I'd watch to see what Philly pays Nick Foles

a lot...ross is gonna open that wallet very wide...if they do it after this season we can still work out a bargain...if they wait another year forget about it

this kids your qb for the next decade plus...get used to it

I would extend him as soon as they are allowed (next off-season)....lock him up for a more reasonable amount...if they wait until his 4th year....
