You know it was bad around here the past two weeks when I would have settled for Shourights Tanny/stats posts over Quit-gate.

Now there's a poll for someone....which would you prefer?:idk:

Nothing to do with Tannehills ability but I would never bet on an individual to do anything. As a Dolphin fan however I feel we have our franchise QB for years to come and although many aren't happy he has not become the equivalent of Manning or Brees (both of which Tannehill is further along in development at this part in his career than they were in theirs) I look forward to the next couple of years and watching him grow into that role.

Manning was a Pro Bowler in his second year. Tannehill is not, so you can throw that comparison away right now. And just about everyone was better in their second year than Brees was in his, including Jamarcus Russell...so I don't see why bringing his name up is relevant.

And if you sincerely believe the implication your post makes that Tannehill will one day become as good as they are now, I don't know what to tell you.

It depends on what you mean by "successful". I think when all is said and done, people will look back at his career and say he had an above average career, but I don't believe he'll ever be a superstar or a threat to break passing records. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I will say this it up tannerhill be starter. he will get four year show what he got. if not back up qb in nfl...
