We have just as many holes on this team now as we did when the Dallas regime took over.

QB, OG, OT, WRs (plural), TE, DE/OLB, Safety...we probably need RB as well considering how injury prone our backs seem to be. if we give Bush the same workload we gave him last season he's pretty much a lock to get hurt.

i dont know what's sadder...that we have just as many needs now as we did in 08....or the fact that the GM who's failed us the last 4 years is still here lol smh.
 
I doubt Bush would agree that he was over worked. He would not want too ride the bench. Every team has too rebuild often if for no other reason age. Every player is at risk for injury in any game. Its part of the game. We can only hope we get a good combination this year and at least make the playoffs.
 
Every team has holes. Even the Super Bowl champs have serious needs at OL, TE, WR, DT and CB. With the parity forced upon us by the salary cap, you will never have great players at every position. The only poistion that matters is QB. If we had a franchise QB that wins games, you wouldnt be saying we have holes all over our team.

Don't agree, but either way in 08 we ended up winning the division and going to the playoffs last I checked :idk:

And whether the QB position is upgraded or not, at the least we presently have a QB ranking 4th in long ball accuracy who can air it out unlike the noodle armed horse we rode in 08 who drew 8 in the box coverage from Top 10 D's.

It isn't like once a hole gets plugged, the position is filled for eternity. The draft exists b/c all teams have holes.
 
This team can win 10 games this year. The coaching staff change is huge. I don't buy the full circle crap.

Only exciting thing to this point is the unknown which is how good (or bad) Phibin will really be and the fact that at present were tie for first place................
oh ya will Ireland stumble into a good to decent draft, oh ya more unknown.....

then there will be our Unknown rookies to drool over for a period of time hoping for the best.......

We are not going anywhere Significant until Ross gets a clue about the guy who is building the team....(known)

but theirs always the fantasy and unknown unseen, unproven expectations to build on......Miami #1 (#1 what? debatable)

Hey it's not even sad anymore......rather expected

no, its because we traded away our best offensive weapon, the ONLY player on offense that defenses really worried about and didn't sign any WRs in free agency to replace him and we still need a pass rusher because Koa Misi, one of many Ireland busts, cant rush the passer at all, even when he's being single blocked against freaking TEs, regardless of what scheme he's in.

WR was a need before trading Marshall away, now we need to draft at least 2.

NOT TRUE AT ALL, and i wish people would get off this "if we only had pennington" nonsense.

pennington was not the catalyst for the sudden wins, it was the unveiling of the WILDCAT offense, which had NOTHING to do with pennington. then people caught on at years end and were handed our arses in the play off game.

penny hadnt won A SINGLE GAME untill the wildcat was pulled out and then you can give ronnie brown the credits for the wins.

had they not come up with the widcat, penny probably wouldnt have won a game, it was looking right away at the beginning of the season that we were heading towards another one or none season. the WILDCAT "saved" us, not chad pennington.

how did penny look the next year after the wildcat was conquered? he LOST his first 3 games and then got permantly injured.

so all this "when we had penny, if only we still had chad" crap has got to stop. its bunk. the guy did nothing for us.

in fact, the wildcat probably hurt us as it made the parcells regime look like something they were not, winners. and it went a long way to keeping them around longer than they should have because of that fluky playoff womping.

people just refuse to live in reality. this is the state of findom at the current time.
