thanks for your in-depth analysis
I say Clay and Fasano could be adequate if used better than last year, especially because Clay seemed to provide a seam-threat late last year. would another true receiving threat at TE like Fleenor be a nice addition? of course, but imo, it's not a dire need
as far as guard, between Jerry, Garner and Hicks, one of three can play well enough to handle the RG position.
at safety it's Culver, Clemons and Jones with a good chance of Marshall moving into the rotation. imo, Jones and Marshall wouldn't be terrible.
Wake, Dansby and Burnett are a good line-up in a 4-3. Misi has disappointed, but he was part of a very good defense last year and it wouldn't be a disaster to have to go with the same group again.
the need at WR was created mainly because of the Marshall trade, which again I believe was as much about him not fitting in the WCO as anything. we have heard from Philbin about what type of receivers he wants and we will no doubt be looking for at least one in the draft. the need isn't because everyone sucks, it's because a change in style is coming.
there is a need for another pass-rusher and with the 4-3 being used more often a DE is probably the target.
again, these are my opinons. I'm not going to promote them as facts, but I think they are reasonable arguments
