Hurricane Irma Only thread

Things are really getting bad for some areas down here, just nothing else today. Hope some how parts of west cost are spared, because if it's a direct hit....

Thinking of you albert. At least you can rebuild a back yard, if you have to go through this I hope this is the most you have to suffer through :/

I'm thinking for everyone in Ft lauderdale area etc this is the worst of it were going to get.

Florida is probably the worst place to live in the US come June to mid October. 94 degree days with 87 degree nights, 100% humidity, rains almost every afternoon, hurricanes, etc. But come November to mid April it more than makes up for it.

That's why I love it.

Hope everyone is bearing it out. Getting ugly is an understatement for South Florida. Those in the midst of the mess check in when you can.

Not gonna lie . . . The cone shift really made me feel more at ease while prepping. . . .but this "dirty sector" of the hurricane and the slowing of the storm made this much worse than the cone shift suggested.

Wilma was stronger for Broward, and a direct hit for Broward, but Irma I feel will be far worse to Broward due to the amount of time we have been dealing with this. . . And we were literally never closer than 80 miles from the eye.

Crazy stuff
