A few commentators last year mentioned that Carol was the fastest dolphin, is this true or were they just trying to fire Wallace up?

On the Finsiders he was asked and said that he had always been the fastest player on every team he had been on until this year. I think that Mike Wallace beat him in a one on one foot race. But that is no disgrace to be beaten by Wallace. Nolan Carroll is way faster than most realize. He lacks the natural skills that Grimes has, but Carroll definitely improved a lot with Grimes and Patterson around him.
People forget that one of Nolan's first duties on the team was the gunner on Special Teams - he was the player tripped on the sideline by the Jets assistant. The gunner has to get downfield very fast.

I think I would like to see Carroll stay with the Phins. He has gotten better each year and played hard for us in 2013.

I'd bring him back if possible.

Nolan Caroll came as a 5th rd choice. In fact it was the 5 we got for trading Ted Ginn Jr. He was come a long way since he first got here. He really came on this year..... Early in year he played against Julio Jones I thought Atlanta was going to eat our lunch because that match up .... He held his own against Jones who was mostly matched up on him. He was paid his due and no doubt coached up to the point where the light has come on.....his best football is in front of him.....Nolan Caroll is going to get paid this off season.

He is a big guy and can run quick. We do need to resign him. He has improved over the years. Restructure Pattersons contract if not cut him.
