Good catch. My bad.

Honest question:
The Ravens were in the same situation as Miami. They faced tougher opponents, this is true, but they were outscored like 75-24. They had a similar problem in that their defense was good enough to keep them in those games (until they got out of hand late) but their offense was terrible. Do the Ravens not respect Jim Harbaugh?

I definitely don't want any injury excuses, New England ran away from the division missing huge chunks of their team yet people want to act like Dustin friggin Keller was our death noll. The Pats lost two pro bowl level Tight ends, receiver after receiver, Ol , one of the best dl in football and one of the best linebackers in football yet they have no problem winning the division. This speaks to poor coaching, poor drafting and lack of heart on our players parts.
So with the Redskins, Bucs, Texans, Browns, and Vikings all looking for head coaches (and those are just the firings that we know of) how many head coaching candidates are out there that you are CERTAIN would be better than Philbin?
Remember when ANYONE would be better than Wanny? Then when ANYONE would be better than Cam Cameron? Then when ANYONE would be better than Tony Sparano? So now ANYONE would be better than Philbin? Noticing a pattern here?
Wasn't that their excuse? "We lost Gronk or you guys never would have beat us". We lost players too and Keller might have been just as important to us as Gronk was to them. And Brady and Belichick having a decade of experience together is a pretty bloody big advantage too.
I respect the way the Steelers run their organization. They do not over react, and they are loyal. The truth is that Ireland has managed the cap well, but he under performs with talent acquisition. I support firing Ireland, but I want Ross to give Philbin at least three more years. I do not care how he replaces Ireland as long as Philbin is extended.
