I changed my mind they all need to go

Honest question:

The Ravens were in the same situation as Miami. They faced tougher opponents, this is true, but they were outscored like 75-24. They had a similar problem in that their defense was good enough to keep them in those games (until they got out of hand late) but their offense was terrible. Do the Ravens not respect Jim Harbaugh?

Flat/tight are the new buzzwords around here. Go rewatch the TD and tell me this team was flat, they were ****ing fired up. The defense looks deflated sometimes but who could blame them with a completely inept offense? Half the games this year I had a constant scowl on my face whenever the offense was out there, its just been ****ing pathetic outside of a few games. That **** has to be draining on the defense.

People have such a short term memory around here. The o-line looked bad to terrible in the preseason. The running back situation was a huge question mark after letting Bush go. Keller goes down and the response is: OMG, there goes our offense, HUGE blow! Yet after all that the first day of the season the fans are like 'OK Joe, no excuses to not go 16-0....'

So with the Redskins, Bucs, Texans, Browns, and Vikings all looking for head coaches (and those are just the firings that we know of) how many head coaching candidates are out there that you are CERTAIN would be better than Philbin?

Remember when ANYONE would be better than Wanny? Then when ANYONE would be better than Cam Cameron? Then when ANYONE would be better than Tony Sparano? So now ANYONE would be better than Philbin? Noticing a pattern here?

This is the first time he hasn't made the playoffs. He has accomplished a few things in Baltimore...he has earned a get out of jail card. I don't feel the same about this staff.

I feel it was obvious before the last two games we were in deep s***.

I definitely don't want any injury excuses, New England ran away from the division missing huge chunks of their team yet people want to act like Dustin friggin Keller was our death noll. The Pats lost two pro bowl level Tight ends, receiver after receiver, Ol , one of the best dl in football and one of the best linebackers in football yet they have no problem winning the division. This speaks to poor coaching, poor drafting and lack of heart on our players parts.

Wasn't that their excuse? "We lost Gronk or you guys never would have beat us". We lost players too and Keller might have been just as important to us as Gronk was to them. And Brady and Belichick having a decade of experience together is a pretty bloody big advantage too.

I like Philbin.

But...yeah. It needs to happen.

Hit the road, Jack. And Jeff. And Joe. And Jim. And Mike. And Kevin.

The mediocrity lovers are back.

I respect the way the Steelers run their organization. They do not over react, and they are loyal. The truth is that Ireland has managed the cap well, but he under performs with talent acquisition. I support firing Ireland, but I want Ross to give Philbin at least three more years. I do not care how he replaces Ireland as long as Philbin is extended.

Unlike us the Pats don't live by one game. Keller's loss in reality had little impact because Clay played as well as Keller would have. What killed us was an inept oline and overrated runningbacks and receivers that did not get the job done. Way to go Pouncey and Miller and the simple minded people that thought Miller could get anywhere near 1500 yards. I mean its so damn easy to run for 1500 yards esp since like only one dolphin player in history has ever done it. This staff is mediocre, our gm is mediocre lets make the necessary changes.

why would u give any coach 3 more years. Shouldn't results determine that instead of some random number. What the hell is so special about a coach that couldn't get his team to beat teams with inferior talent the final two weeks. We got beat by backup qb's on the final two weeks, hell lost twice to a third string qb. Send his azz back to Green Bay and let Ireland go ruin another franchise
