Whoever our next HC is....I feel sorry for them! Some of people are yofreaking hilarious in some of the things you say. Not everyone, but. Most posters are wanting the next HC fired before he is even hired.....and we don't even know who the hell that guy is! Geez people, get a freaking grip! I am not calling anyone out but I definately question a few people on this sites fandom. If you're not going to back the next guy....reguardless of who it is....put your fan card in the bucket that's sitting on the table by the door, and tell Rex Ryan that DOLPHINS FANS say hello, and that we can't wait to shove the football up his and his teams poop chute yet again in 2012, reguardless of who our next "chief" is. All 3 finalists have some very good things going for them. Each season is like a new game. What happened in the past doesn't mean squat....what matter is now! Now either rally around and support the guy or at least please try to keep the negativity to a minimum! Good lord!

Fear of the Unknown

I can understand being skeptical about whoever our new coach may be, but saying "I hope he sucks" is just pathetic. I'll be rooting him and my Dolphins next season.

I think a rock would be better than Sparano, so I'm a little optimistic for our future.

fear of the unknown is one thing. And I can understand that, but cutting his head off before he's even born is another thing. Doesn't make sence!

Yah, I agree we need to give our new head coach a chance before we label him as a failure, but I don't think he's the least bit concerned by the fans' criticism...at least initially. His job right now is going to be getting himself familiarized with the team and leading them back to being the proud franchise the Miami Dolphins have been during the past few decades prior to this last one. He's not going to have time to concern himself with our thoughts...unless he fails of course.

But that's just it, he should be given the chance to prove himself before he's labeled positively or negatively. Honestly, none of us truly knows what these guys will bring as a head coach. They each had their own circumstances with their old teams, but never as a head coach...and never with our set of players. To base their future performances with us on these experiences is useless. We've seen head coaches stink with old teams, and prosper with their new teams and vice versa. In other words...give the guy a chance, whoever he is, before we write him off, no? :idk:

Look at what we fans have lived through the last couple decades. I always give the new guy a chance but my patience gets shorter with each failed regime. This time we didn't even clean house so my patience will be especially short this time around.

gotta give whoever a fair shot, but probably will be on a shorter lease....u never know we are way over due for a little blind luck .....maybe

Hey gotta be grateful they at least didn't keep Sparano

I actually like the unknown coach approach. I think it will be good for Miami to go that route. There won't be false expectations for him to come in and turn completely around in the first year. Patience is something we all don't have, this could force it. McCoy if hc, is young, bright, and could have a Ton of upside. It's evident Ross is a very successful business man and just might have found the next Shula.. Gonna stay optimistic but humble. Anything is better than that meatball

i love u. Go phins !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i hope everybody waving their lollipops and sunshine(as xpac would put it) will be here in 2 years to back it up, when we are looking for another coach with potential. its really amazing how some can be so blinded by what is going on within this organization.

we haven't cleaned house because we don't have a coach. Ireland is not the house.

while its also truely amazing that we think we are sitting in on interviews with these candidates and that we can see into the future!

I will back it up, but you will be the one saying " sorry 4 giving up on the phins please let me back in "

Im sure all dolphin fans know how its been in the past decade. Its what we are used to, SADLY. Hope atm is all but flourishing. They just need to take a deep breathe and sit back and watch. As for the next head coach he has alot of **** to take care of with this draft. He and Ireland are going to have to choose. Either trade up with the rams and possibly get RG3. Or they can say well moore is fine atm and sign some free agent, than maybe surround him with another weapon like Blackman. Or we just end up picking up a lineman...... again. Even though Reggie bush already proved what he can do with Long out of the game and pouncey as well. If I were Ireland id try and land another wr. They are not getting open fast enough. It doesn't to make much to coach, but you do need the weapons to follow through. Mike brought the broncos to the playoffs with Tebow. Im sure he can handle his own with our offense.

I'm am open-minded about this hire. In the last 15 years we have seen the Dolphins sign big names with impressive resumes and the hot coordinators only to see failure. There is no magical formula, we just have to hope that Ross is better at this than Huizenga
