That article makes it sound like Sapp was just killing our offensive line. I was there that day. I was in the bleachers about 20 feet away from the players. And the biggest thing Sapp did was take a p*ss on the outfield wall.
Yeah, he beat a rookie tackle (Wade) in a 1-on-1 drill. Then he did his dance. Congratulations.
Meanwhile, Mark Dixon was kicking Sapp's azz (as usual) in those drills. And Wade was driving Marcus Jones into the ground.
Honestly, we had success that day. And then we went out and ran roughshod over them in the preseason game. Lamar had like 77 yards in the 1st quarter.
