i have a tendency to agree with you alot of the time kast but this is one time i must disagree, watching mnf with madden commentating actually lowers my iq from beginning to end with his random babbling, i kinda feel sorry for al michaels (sp, see there goes my iq) because whenever he tries to say something halfway intelligent madden shuts him down and starts trying to dissect a dropped pass from 6 plays before

yeah lately he's a bit old and weird, but in his prime he was the best in the business. and he still dissects plays perfectly. he sees everything on the field in one view and talks about it 10 seconds later as if he had time to watch it over and over. the guy knows football better than most
