I need an answer....

Whatever you say man.

I'm no negative Nancy though so you can tell me to look in the mirror all you want. It's a fact of life. Everybody is naive about something sometimes.
I meant that post specifically....I was responding to someone else, and trying to share some positive vibes....and for no reason at all, you have to piss on the point....It gets frustrating and that's why the guy left in the first place....

Thanks inFins. I disappeared for awhile because i got tired of reading the same old negative crap. There is nothing wrong with different opinions, but the bashing sucked!

Me too. Especially when the bashing redirects from the players to the posters who are simply trying to maintain a mutually respectful dialog.

remember though, the more positive people that are here, the more positive vibes we'll have overall... ;)

Does this include people who are "positive Feeley sucks"? :)

Heres my take pal: If they are only a buggywhip apart either way, Feeley will start. Obviously, Saban will err on the side of youth if there is only a negligible amount of difference between the two after the Jax game. I think Saban will declare a clear cut starter before the 4th preseason game so that that player can gel with the offense in the last two games.

Sabans no dummy he knows Feeley has talent. But, on the devils advocate side, who else does he have to put into competition with Frerotte?...Sage?

The ball is in Feeley's court, he just needs to put on his A Game.

Saban has no desire to fail in any position.
Yeah, we may have a group of stiffs but, some people say that Feeley is the worst of the bunch....Saban obviously feels differently.

I hear ya, I wasn't trying to piss on your point either. I'm sorry if it came across that way.

Anyway, I don't want to be negative about Feeley but it's just how I see it at this point. It sucks but it will come to an end one way or another.

You know what has me confused Fin.....you haven't been this negative about feeley for the entire off season....I can't for the life of me figure out what he's done since training camp started, that's made you so adamant that he'll fail.

We all knew that Gus knew the system, we all knew that AJ was a poor practice player, we all want AJ to stop throwing INTs especially the ones that go the other way for 6......What we know now is that AJ and Gus are neck and neck for the starting job even with Gus' advantage...even though AJ is supposedly a poor practice player....we know that AJ hasn't thrown a pic in his last 85+ attempts (whether he's locked onto his receivers or not)....he hasn't thrown an INT returned for a TD since the Buffalo game last year....the last three games he played last year he threw 120 passes with one INT (in the first of those three games @ Denver)....he played Monday night almost as well as he was playing to end last season if not better and it was his first game ever in the new offense....so what exactly has caused you to all of a sudden condemn him?

Well if he felt Feeley was the worst of the bunch I agree that it's goes without saying that Sage would be getting half the snaps. For some reason, with all the QB problems we've had during his time here no one has felt he has much game.

Isn't 193 responses to a 5 hour thread some type of record? Call Guiness! Hell, I'll have a Guiness!

Brilliant!!

Well it is obvious to some people on this board that Feely sucks and has absolutely no potential ever to be an NFL quarterback....zip, none. Saban by his own admission obviously continues to let him compete for the starting quarterback job. Assuming that to be true, the only conclusion I can make from this is that Saban sucks as a talent evaluator.

I know you didn't ask me this question, but I'm finding that my opinion of A.J. hasn't decreased at all. It's my opinion of Gus that has increased. His numbers aren't blowing A.J.'s away despite a small advantage. I just know that I feel better with him in the pocket than I thought I would. There's a comfort level there that I haven't yet had with Feeley and I never really had with Jay.

It's sounds weird coming from me, because I'm usually such a numbers guy. Again, to sum up: A.J. not bad; Gus better than expected.

gus numbers are inflated cause two of this throws sucked *** and numbers dont indicate that those yards came from CRAPPY throws.
