I could almost agree with that but, I want to see more of Gus first.

Well it was just a matter of time, or hadn't you heard? We LOST our first preseason game. Unacceptable. Can the bum.
 
I also just want the best player to start. But if i had to choose which one i wanted to win i would choose feeley. AJ is still young and can be around 10 more years, gus has 2-3 years left tops. So if AJ works out, problem solved, if gus is better than we have to look somewhere else for the future qb. Thats why i root for AJ to be the better qb. BUt i dont want to just lose games so feeley can learn. So may the best man win and hope its feeley.

Wow.

You obviously feel very strongly about Feeley. So, lets have some fun with this..

If Feeley wins the starting job by opening day (and I mean win because of skill and not Frerotte injury), then myself and the rest of the people on your 'list' have to change our avatar to a Feeley pic or any pic of your choice.

Now if Frerotte or anybody other QB beats out Feeley.. then you have to change yours to this..

When did Saban tell you this? I havent read that anywhere? Hmm must be nice to have one on one with Nick.
 
First let me say I think you are completely right. Saban sees some potential in AJ. Most of us do. I can't imagine where all the support for Sage comes from. He is definetly 3rd string at best. To this point I think Gus has looked the best but it is still VERY early. One last note, Sage hasn't improved perceivably since being with the Dolphins, Gus has had his shot at being the starter in the NFL, they are both known comodities. Both AJ and Brock offer more long term upside. So they are all getting a look. Saban will make the best choice when the time comes, and in my experience it usually isn't that hard of a decision. One player will distinguish himself during the preseason and win the job. Considering the O line, the D secondary and the lack of a pass rush in HOF game Saban has bigger fish to fry right now.
 
Feeley is not a failure at QB! He just makes some really bad decisions sometimes (at the worst times), that probably was rushed because of our pitiful line play. He has some very good skills that never seem to be applied to his game completely.
He looks good enough at times to make you go.... hmmmmm. And then turns right around and does something that makes you go .... wtf?

You could say that his play has been more bi-polar than anything else.

Gus is looking better, right now, for all of the reasons previously discussed in the news reports. He appears to be pulling away from AJ at the moment, but will have to maintain his lead over the entire season before he can be considered the real deal.

:drinkers: :beerbang: Here's hoping that someone, anyone... will step up and solidify that position. Otherwise.... It's gonna be another long season.

First of all, you can't speak for everyone so this bet is between you and I only....

Second, no way does opening day resolve anything.

If Gus is the starter on opening day, it doesn't mean that he's better than Feeley, it means that he's the better QB for now. There are also 16 games to play in the season, I'm not losing some stupid bet just to have Feeley come in during the season and take over the starting job at some point. If you want to make this bet, it's for the whole season and it goes to a vote in a thread with a poll.

After that, if I lose I'll wear that picture, in my avatar for a week.....if you lose....you wear this one for a week....
