If Gus is the starter on opening day, it doesn't mean that he's better than Feeley, it means that he's the better QB for now. There are also 16 games to play in the season, I'm not losing some stupid bet just to have Feeley come in during the season and take over the starting job at some point. If you want to make this bet, it's for the whole season and it goes to a vote in a thread with a poll.

After that, if I lose I'll wear that picture, in my avatar for a week.....if you lose....you wear this one for a week....

It's a poll....Loser leaves town....who stays and who goes....AJ or Gus?

contract details will not be considered in the criteria...it's simply who you'd rather keep on the team.

1st of all, everybody will probably have forgotten about all this by the end of the season.

2nd, If you have a poll that says " If AJ leaves and Gus stayes, then Infins dons the tater salad; and If Gus leaves then Jnaledu3 dons the jackass," you know people are going to choose Gus to leave town, just so Jnaledu3, the unpopular one, will don the jackass.

I say that the bet is decided on starting day, with the loser wearing the crappy avatar the WHOLE season. Now if at some point, the other QB comes in the middle of the season and replaces the QB that started the season, and keeps the job- then the bet is reversed.

If nobody remembers the bet, we don't have to tell them about it.....You or I can simply start a thread out of curiosity....No one has to know anything more than that....

That's the only bet I'll agree to....The other way is unfair...

I'll take that bet. Though if I loose you're going to have to deal with a lot of upset members who need thier fix from my current avatar. :tongue:

Good idea. Just as long as it isnt Skapefin or Rickyrunsover. I think rancidlunchmeat or chambers84 would be a good choice. :evil:

Do I understand you guys righ? you are going to decide this issue with a poll ? why not performance... QB rating TD-Int things like that. The odds say they will both play because of injuries. We are not really playing any soft teams so the stats won't be skewed by that.

We'll pick a "nuetral" third party...not that it really matters but, it'll just be better that way.

Too much of an argument can be made that the stats don't tell the whole story....

This is the simplest way with a definate winner and loser.
