While I agree, that last nights game was just a way for Coach to sample his players and coaches and nothing more, it still has no reflection upon other games past or present.

The buzz about Ricky William's first game in a Dolphins uniform was unreal. Everyone was excited.
However, in that first preseason game, the offensive line looked terrible. Ricky had no room whatsoever to run, and Jay Fiedler was getting rushed all the time he was in.
All the talk after that game was "What good is Ricky going to do if we can't block for him?"
"Our line is terrible!...blah blah blah"
Then he proceeded to rush for over 1,800 yards, and everyone praised the o-line.
And the line of that year doesn't have the talent or the coaching that the current one has.

Thanks I really needed to hear that after what I saw last night. Heres to improvment in the next monthDolphinDevil28 said:It was at Dolphins Stadium against the Saints. I was there.

The difference then and now is that the rest of the AFCE aren't as weak as they were back then plus you have a hard sched this year.DolphinDevil28 said:It was at Dolphins Stadium against the Saints. I was there.
