Then why is Sparano still here? Have any of you heard him answer any questions about this feeling running rampent through his team? Has he defended or denied the comments? If your not getting it done on the practice field and the whole world knows this by now than shouldnt the coach have to answer for this. I know you all have been asking these questions but I may have missed it but where is the article or interview drilling Tony asking him about this? Seems its either true or its not either way the coach needs to answer for this. That is his job after all. Has anybody heard Tony address this?

I think you can ask yourself the question why he's still here if the owner publicly pursued another coach in the offseason.

The fact that the team isn't preparing well is simply a byproduct of that.

No sense kicking him more while he has hit bottom
If he a real nfl coach he can use this all as motivation
and get back up and turn this team around..

I dont believe players have said that at all. They said they make mental mistakes in practice. They are putting it on themselves.

If your team has quit on you, which could very well be the case here, there's nothing you can do.

One man versus fifty-three.

The smartest thing Tony Sparano could do right now is take his assistants and walk off the practice field during a Wednesday practice, leaving the team to sort out who its leaders are among the players.

Those leaders can then take over and drive the team, since Tony Sparano has had his power undermined by the owner.

Nothing else is going to rectify this IMO.

Under Shula players trained in the midday Miami heat and they trained and trained and trained until they collapsed and puked, but they got it right. . look at the Shula legacy, winning season after winning season. . contenders . look at us now

training in a freakin bubble, no 1pm games and players cramping up while opposing teams cope better with our home conditions than we do . this is a joke. .

the training needs a serious re think. . train out doors in the heat. . after all we play out doors right??!!
train until they puke. . get it right. . the will to train to win makes winners

Here is how it works,

Player makes a comment -> reporter reports their interpretation of that comment, sprinkling in their own opinion -> That is picked up by a fan and it hits an internet forum = Whatever the player originally said is lost as everybody gives it their own spin, throwing in their own opinions and in many cases adding in additional inaccurate information.

So, don't get your information from crazy *** fans on a forum. This place is gossip central.

Those days are long gone. More of an urban legend than reality anyway.

Go read the CBA. Practice days, times and length are limited.

It's what the players wanted. Nothing any coach, even Shula if he were active, can do about it.

wish they could....but believe it or not, this nfl is much softer than back in those days. hell it used to be if you drank water during practice, you were a p***y. The nflpa would not allow them to stay out in the heat like they did back in the good ol' days.

yes, but other teams are doing fine and we can't even handle our own weather at home!!

I think the conditioning problem is in the past. It didn't appear to be a problem last week. The problem now is the mental stuff. The little mistakes that are killing them on the field.
