If Grier is Replaced, Who Replaces Him?

That's the problem. The coach is always the scapegoat for him. He always says he picks who the coach wants and that's how he gets away with being shitty...
The funny thing is he can still get a coach a position player he likes but instead of a Geisicki he could have gotten Goddert or Andrews. There is always a scenario where he drafts guys a round or to early. We could have had Taylor or Swift in the late 1st and got an Iggy early 3rd. The guy overall just stinks at drafting and that is not counting putting together an OL.

Yip, and he said it was Flores that wanted him. So Flores was his scapegoat for that shitty pick. It always ends up that way...

It’s his get out of jail card he constantly uses. If this is the last year with ross as owner and his daughter takes over. She may clean house if Miami doesn’t do anything in the playoffs again

It was the Texans….and the proceeds were squandered, so yes…it failed.

5 years…no playoff wins.

Thanks for the Texans/Titans thing; I transpose those names sometimes.

But that’s a really weird criterion to use as a blanket statement. So everything Miami has done since 2001 is a failure? Ricky Williams? The Wildcat? Cam Wake? Five All-Pro seasons out of Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor? Jarvis Landry? The Miami Miracle? 70-20?

All failures because they didn’t turn into playoff wins?

Yes, for a franchise once known for having the highest winning percentage in professional sports…who regularly won playoff games? 24 years without a playoff win (longest streak in the NFL) is a failure and embarrassing!

A lot of fans want Grier gone. But i don’t see any suggestions on who to replace him
With. Who would be the best candidate available if grier was fired? And would they want to work under Ross?
He is not going anywhere

It can't be that hard to find a GM. Half the people posting on FH seem to have all the answers. :)
Well honestly the Dolphins should just throw up polls here on Finheaven asking who to draft and trade for/how much and that should be what we do. Have a lawyer to write up the contracts and someone around to pick up the phone. Key card the elevators and when someone is let go, just deactivate their access. Who needs an actual gm?!?

Please stop this madness Grier is a solid GM we need better coaching. Look what happened to the Lions last night bad coaching in big games is a constant with this team.
We win the AFC East if we had just some basic coaching in the last 3 minutes of the Tennesee game.

Disagree….While our coaching is suspect…the GM failed in many respects?

Who hired Gase, Flores and now McDaniel?

Damn the NFL for making me read this as we could have had Taylor Swift.
