This isn't a whether or not he should be fired thread and I don't think he does, but I do want to see what potential Gm's are out there that you would like see take over if Ireland does get relieved of duty at the end of the season. Be reasonable...with your selections...GM's that are already established with certain franchises.
Scott Pioli - Has been instrumental in building some of the most talented team in the NFL....The New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs. Is notable for not only getting guy who fit the teams personality, but also establishing quality depth on the team. His biggest knock is his inability to chose a head coach
Eric Decosta – Assistant GM – Baltimore Ravens – Has spent most of his pro career working under Ozzie Newsome and has played a significant role in drafting many of their pro-bowl players. He is seen as the successor to Newsome when he does retire and is currently one of the highest paid executives in the NFL so I doubt he would leave, but with Ross's fat pockets and willing to spend to win, he may be able to persuade DeCosta to leave Baltimore.
