If the Dolphins wanted to move on from Tua Tagovailoa, there are not many options

So, when under pressure (which is a given with Miami's inability to build a strong o-line), you'd rather see Tua getting sacked than a stronger, more mobile QB who can escape and make a play?

I also believe that McDaniel is a bigger problem than Tua, but I'd still prefer a bigger, stronger QB.
Seriously, are you taking the piss here? What about when they aren’t under pressure which is more often than not. Even with the worst line in the league you are looking at a 60/40 split.

Sam ****ing Howell? I can’t take much more of this **** from this board.

Honestly, go give your head a wobble.

Imagine living in the AFC where the best teams are built around singular R1 talents like Josh Allen, Pat Mahomes and Lamar Jackson.

Then imagine living in the NFC where the better teams are led by a who's who of stars and game managers, each drafted from all over the place: Purdy, Love, Goff, Mayfield, Prescott, Cousins, etc.

It would benefit some to realize what a unique set conditions we're currently living under having to break out of the AFC.

It just sucks.

At this point, i rather start over with a new QB even if it means we go backwards. I seen enough in Tua to know that he can't elevate his game any further. His best months are from September-November, but when it comes to December, January games, he folds under pressure. His arm is shot by December and he panics way too much when it's crunch time. Lastly, you have to limit the play calls since we can't do any QB sneak or bootleg options since he can't be touch, otherwise he can get hurt rather easily.
Very well stated!

Apparently, you don't like opinions that are different than your own, so how do you cope in the real world?

On second thought, I don't care to deal with you any further... bye-bye.

A more mobile QB would not help with this offensive line.

Teams only rush 3-4 and get pressure instantly. We have unblocked rushers constantly. A more mobile QB would still have nowhere to throw the ball and nowhere to run.

Find a QB that can throw the ball in under 2 seconds AND hit receivers in a secondary with 7-8 defenders.

OR

Fix the ****ing oline.

I prefer to finally fix the ****ing oline.

short of trading up for a QB, the most realistic and cost effective option is to trade for Justin Fields. Send Tua packing to the one of 5 teams that would want him and free up that 23m. From there we move X and just like that we are about under the cap.

Fields might not be the passer that Tua is, but he has a lot that Tua does not have like size, strength, legs, big arm. If McDaniel is truly a genius then let him develop Fields and give us a QB that hasn’t reached his ceiling yet.

He isn’t. That was made abundantly clear after he continued to call motion plays 25 yards down field that defenses figured out and continued to calls screens 4 yards behind the line of scrimmage on 2nd and inches. I guess if we want to waste the rest of Hills career and tank for a good pick then fields is a sold option.

I agree... but I also believe that Tua is not the answer. I say fix the damn o-line (make it big and nasty), AND get a bigger, stronger, more athletic QB.

Tua could be the answer, but he needs to fix his head problems. He can make the plays, given time.

If they dont fix the oline though, this will be his last year.

Peyton manning could make every throw and was only limited by his mobility, which he made up for with his football iq. The main difference for me here is that peyton actually looked like he cared when he played like shyt. Tua is mentally weak, cant handle adversity, not a leader of men.
Peyton Manning is one of my favorite players of all time, but it took him about 7 years to put it all together, reduce his interceptions, and start winning in the playoffs. And he’s not the only QB that took a next step after 5 or so years.

Tua has much he needs to improve on. I’m still optimistic he can. i understand that there are those convinced he can’t.

Id definitely love to see more fire in Tua.

I get your point, but my point wasn't made clear enough. IMO, Tua needs a very good o-line, but recent history shows that Miami's Front Office can't build one of those. So, they need a bigger, stronger QB who can shed tacklers and make plays off-script because protection WILL break down!

Forget about Fields, he ****ing sucks.

Why would you want Teddy Bridgewater 2.0?

You make too much sense. Sadly, for every sensible person here we have 100 wackos. The wackos appear only after we lose. 😂

Such a trash take. Yeah the guy has the highest rating in college history along with leading the league in passer rating last year yet can’t process a defense. Casual lazy fan take. Go watch Kurt Warners breakdown, McDaniel is a far bigger problem than Tua. Play designs and calls are awful at times.

Right on man, you're entitled to your own opinion as I am with mine. I'll just say that my take is coming not from a place of laziness, rather an intuitive processing that I've felt with Tua for years. I don't need to listen to Kurt Warner's breakdown lol , I know what I feel and see with my own eye(s),so I can form an opinion for myself. I'm sure Warner's take is informative and hopefully he continues to praise Tua. All I care about now is getting the highest value for him in a trade scenario. So we need all the Tua hype 🥳🥳

Mentally handicapped, and I say this respectfully, is what I feel Tua is. McDaniel has been hiding his "processing" limitations this entire time.. dang you think some people would have some respect on his name, after all he designed this system tailored for Tua which inflated his stats to Mvp talk!

So this is not a full representation of McDaniel as a play caller. In my eyes it's only fair to evaluate him until he has his own guy.

A wacko is a person who blames one person for the failure of an entire organization, despite ample and abundant evidence to the contrary.
