If the New Offensive System is Different from Sherman's...

...then what effect do you believe it will have on Ryan Tannehill?

It better be....

it will still be similar.. Expect a West Coast Offense.. but not the watered down 1980's version. Can't have too big of a transition in a playoffs or bust year for Philbin. All the West Coast terminology and verbiage is all the same.

We don't even know who the new OC is going to be yet. Good Lord.

Somebody just loves to see his name on the first page.

I can't answer this in a vacuum without knowing what Miami will be doing. If we bring in the likes of Chris Foerster or Kippy Brown, then Tannehill, like any qb, would be hampered.

Personally, I'd like to see a system with more of a running game and that spreads the field more, while identifying matchup advantages pre-snap, like Peyton Manning does, instead of a progression system.

One very overrated issue has been the compatibility of Sherman with Philbin. We've heard that Philbin wanted McAdoo all along. While Philbie has known Sherman since high school, McAdoo and Philbin both came out of the Mike McCarthy Green Bay system. Mike Sherman preceded Mike McCarthy in GB and runs a different strain of the offense. Philbin and McAdoo may run something slightly different than Sherman ran.

One thing is for sure, it will be an excuse for more poor play. It's the first year in a new system is what you will hear.

Why are there not a lot of numbers and long statements explaining the above poll?

The system isnt the problem. It was the play calling.
