If the New Offensive System is Different from Sherman's...

...then what effect do you believe it will have on Ryan Tannehill?

are you implying that is me?

It was a reference to shouright, starting another thread regarding Tannehill. That's a current source of paranoia around here.

Don't fret. I made the same mistake in my early months on this site. There was a betting reference and I thought it was directed to me. After I responded, somebody cut me off and wrote (paraphrased), "Buddy, you're new here and nobody knows who the hell you are. So shut up."

I had to laugh at that because I was fairly well known and respected in Las Vegas betting circles, and on at least one Dolphins site. It hadn't translated here at that point.

Your stuff is impressive so fairly soon the responses will be directed to you. I'm glad we have another draft specialist because ckparrothead is not posting here very much anymore, and I'm not sure if that will change approaching the draft.

 Pretty funny isn't it?

Paranoia? I do not think that word means what you think it means.....

The word you were looking for was hemorrhoids.... the current source of hemorrhoids around here. auto correct perhaps?

I don't think the "new" system is going to be much different than the old system. Philbin is the head coach and he comes from the offensive side of the ball. We're running HIS offense and Coyle's defense. Any new OC, while being allowed to make slight changes, is going to be running what Philbin believes in... Philbin's offense. The playcalling might be better, perhaps the new OC will have a plan for keeping defenses off balance within Philbin's system, but I highly doubt we'll see a dramatic change from Philbin's offensive philosophy. If we're not running Philbin's offense, what the hell is he here for? His motivational skills? His practice scheduling expertise? His enthusiastic and infectious sideline demeanor? His ability to surround himself with great coaching talent?

Dang Shouright keep your head up buddy! Haha I can tell you've made a lot of friends on here, but hey man believe it or not I enjoy reading all your crazy ass posts! Just know it wouldn't be the same on here without you and your wild statistics!

At least someone does.I learned early not to read his garbage, but need to check in to see how one twists his agenda into knots to confuse the unknowing.

Post whore

Tanny whore

You forgot Borderline spam whore for the OP

I wouldn't bother speaking to the people here who have glaring emotional problems.

nor with stats spam agendas.

Why are there not a lot of numbers and long statements explaining the above poll?

Because then you would dealing with closer resemblance of real football, the actual game, where the dishes and dashes cant be put in fancy pretty charts.

Dont be silly.

His improvement (if any) will be less than it would have in Sherman's system.
His improvement (if any) will be more than it would have in Sherman's system.
His improvement (if any) will be no different than it would have in Sherman's system.

If someone asked me to make a dysfunctional poll, this is exactly how I would lay it out. (if any)= "fail poll dot com"

Talk about agenda driven bias drool.

Keep it WCO based for terminology, etc...

I'd like to see something along the lines of what Joe Gibbs had in his 1st tenure w/ the Redskins.... Minimal plays but lots of formations and motion.

I really hope this offseason he trains his ass of and comes back playing like a bat out of hell. I somehow doubt it considering when he was drafted he had no idea which teams were in his division. I mean it's called preparation and for pete's sake, it's only 3 teams.

Figured "team hate" wouldn't be happy with doubling ones TD's in year one to year two. They have to worry a player didn't know what teams were in a division prior to him knowing what team he's on yet.

I'm sure we will hear alot of this if Tannehill regresses... reminds me alot of the excuses Jet fans made for Mark buttfumble and the change in coordinators. Either you have it or you don't when it comes to being an elite quarterback.

"If" with his fingers crossed.:rolleyes2:

Seriously, in years 1 and 2, what exactly are the clues. Then show me how they apply to every elite QB past and present. Then explain WTF an elite QB is anyway. Then explain why you think an elite QB is necessary to win the SB. 7 of the last 14 SB winners weren't considered elite when they won the SB.

The problem with the Tannehaters is they want Tannehill to fail so they can be right. No one invests so much effort to trash one player unless they want them to fail.

:logic:

Think you just caused several haters to have brain damage.Hope it's only temporary brain damage though.

Comment if you'd like. :)

For a guy that likes stats, what can you possibly see in this poll? Three possible opinions from fans on how a player will do relative to a system we know nothing about.
I like a lot of your stuff but you finally lost me.

He's fishing for sharks with worms. Not gonna work.

Would like a similar thread with all these fancy net ypa and wpa and correlations, standard deviations, or years 1 and 2, in comparison to ryan tannehills year one and two, for the following quarterbacks:

Tom brady
Aaron rodgers
Peyton manning
drew brees
And phillip rivers...

Please.

Tannehill, is that you? Doubling touchdowns is a great sign considering our team talent has improved on the offensive side of the ball. Too bad it only accounted for one more win and no playoff appearance. I want to see improvement that results in wins. I'm a Dolphin fan, not a Tannehill fan.
