I was at the game yesterday in the lower level and during the goal line stand, on first down, I stood up and started yelling until my head started to turn purple. This fat guy wearing an orange shirt with half his beer on it yelled at me to sit down because he couldn't see. :down:
I was in total disbelief. This is when we can help our team out and make a difference and you want me to sit down? This has been a problem for me at the games in the past few years and it is embarrassing. I looked at him and told him if he wants to sit down, watch the game at home. We need to stop this garbage and support our team to the fullest. Like Nick Saban said, we want to make this place so horrible for the opponents to come and play that they will hate to play the Dolphins. We are a proud franchise and we need to act like it.
I am proud to say that all the other dolphans around me looked at the guy like he was nuts (a couple fans said some things that I cannot repeat hear) and stood up with me in a collective roar for our team!! GO PHINS!!!:clap: :allhail: ALL HAIL THE NICKTATOR!!!!
 
i feel the same way at Jets games when i get into it and stand up to and get loud --- if you want to sit and watch the game they make a la-z-boy for that -- at the game be ready to stretch the legs and work the lungs! Live football is the best
 
you lose weight just sitting in that heat -- maybe his fat *** just melted to the seat

I'm with you 100% brotha!! I was doing the same thing up in section 448 (IN MY SAME SEAT I BEEN IN FOR 5 YEARS, MIND YOU) and some guy who HASN'T BEEN THERE even last year tries to tell me to sit down. Actually, HIS WIFEY is the one who tells me, "hey YOU NEED to sit down. My husband's got a bad back and can't see the game when you stand. First I laughed. Then I tried them for Not making a damn single sound when we NEEDED to be louder than ever at the goal line. Then I told them, "listen, I been sitting right here for a fewyears now and if you think I'm gonna change what I do and how I act and watch the game yall need to go back home cause we dont need people sitting here quiet as you two and telling others to sit down." Bad Back? Call your chiropractor and watch the game at home. I would have been alittle more receptive to them, but their choice of words which were, "YOU NEED TO SIT DOWN" was just rediculous and funny to me that I had to sh1t on them. Minutes later, we were all high-fiving when we made that goal line stand..It's all love in the end.

This has been a pet peeve of mine for the past decade. We have the lamest fans in the league in terms of how loud and enthusiastic we are in the stadium.

Hold on..Yes there are some Lames in there, but let's not get it twisted...THAT PLACE WAS LOUD, ENTHUSIASTIC, MADHOUSE, with INCREDIBLE ENERGY! I was glad to be alive in there yesterday. I love our real fans. THat place was loud. Just cause there are a few dumb @$$3s in there, let's not make it seem like nobody cheers in there.

Well done FEARDAFINS. We need to continue to chase out that beached whale mentality and infuse the stadium with young, enthusiastic, and maybe a little skinnier fan base.
 
i had the samething happen to me last year, people around me are standing up, im standing up, and this guy says hey can you guys sit down, im like look were getting ready to score, and im cheering my team on why are you sitting down?


maybe they need to put in a diaper section for crybabies:rofl3:
 
If you are 6ft tall standing up in front of someone who is only 5' 2", you should sit your arse down IMO.

Oh my God, I can't believe some of the stuff I'm reading here. Some of you people actually go to a game and sit?!?!?!?! And you call yourselves fans? What true fan in their right mind goes to a game to sit quietly and watch? I can't remember ever leaving a game with my voice intact and my hands not swollen from clapping. I agree with other posters -- if all you're gonna do is sit there, then stay home and watch the game on TV. Don't ever ask loyal fans to sit down. If you can't/won't participate, then don't criticize those who do!!!!! :yell:

I got the same thing here in a bar in gainesville. I was cheering my team up early because our defense was kicking butt and some Redskins fan starts telling me to sit down and shut up because my team stinks. I had to ask him if his team kicked another feild goal yet and if he wants peace and quite, try Church! I go to a sports bar to yell and cheer and this j hole wants to start something. I mean i could understand a Broncos fan getting upset cause he felt I was ragging him (which the two Broncos fans there were just fine) but a skins fan mad because the bar was getting loud?? Come on!!!!
