Improve on 4-12 or Matt Leinart??

OK.It doesnt change my mind though.IMO you dont wish for a another season like last season in order to get a player who may or may not work out.

But if it does work out that way I would pick.......................Matt Leinert................but only after I fired Nick Saban. (Just kidding)

I think we will end up drafting one of those stud LTs next year.

That's the problem at times on these message boards. You can't just accept that people have different opinions.

We are "reubiliding" and when you rebuild you need more than 1 year of picking at the top of the draft. I feel that would help us more long-term.

That doesn't mean I am not a fan. That doesn't mean I am rooting agaisnt us all year. I just feel another 4-12 season wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for the long-term stability of this franchise. Thats all.

Don't get so worked up over this brother, its just a message board. Not everyone will agree. Relax, calm down. Read a book, say a prayer. do what you need to calm yourself down.

As a fan, I'd never wish a bad season on my team. Especially for the sake of a draft pick. Last season was rough. Having to find things to root for was an unnatural feeling that I'm not eager to revisit.

Leinert is great and all. But he's not the end all, be all of NFL futures. We don't even know if he'll live up to the #1 overall pick in the draft as an NFL QB.

Left tackles like D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Marcus McNeil and Eric Winston will be there. QBs like Bruce Gradkowski and Omar Jacobs (local guy) will be there. Hell we might opt to address our QB issues in free agency (Drew Brees). I'll pimp my boy Phil's take on Miami's 2006 QB prospects.

In short, I voted no.

Why would someone respect your opinion if your not giving any type of support. Theres been a ton posts of peoples opinions using valid reasoning to back up their stance on the argument, and all you have to say in defense of your side is by attacking their style of argument, not the substance.

I've never not accepted someones opinion, but when you have no substance behind it and can't back it up, whats the point of expressing it.

I'm not worked up. You've obvioulsy been backed into a corner by the overwhelming majority of posters disagreeing with you and you're going to try to attack me personally maybe to makes you feel tough or something.

As sad as it sounds, I was kinda hoping we'd lose to Baltimore in Week 17 for draft position. I rooted for us so hard during the game. But when it was over, I was sorta relieved.

Those kinds of emotions can tear a football fan apart. :cry:
