Improve on 4-12 or Matt Leinart??

Would you agee to 4-12 right now if it meant Matt Leinert next April??

no mf, i want to win. who the f wants to be laughed at? what the f makes lienhart peyton manning? would i go 4-12 to get one player, what a f'ing joke.....he's not even mike vick..why didnt we tank the season the year before to get him? oh isee, just bcuz the cleveland cavs tanked their season to get lebron, you think its a good idea.. the mf'ing season hasnt even f'ing started, and you want us to go f'ing 4 and mf'ing 12...go root for the 9ers if you want the first pick....gd, wtf...

He started with Josh Harris at BG and turned him into one of the most feared players in all of college football at the time, and tutored Mr. Jacobs. Then he turned the mediocre Smith into the 1st overall pick. The heigth is also a concern.At least Alex Smith has that.
 
I don't like Lienart in the first place. he just screams "NFL Bust" to me. plus i feel losing to take a gamble in the draft should never be an option. not to mention losing tends to ruin some players. when a team keeps losing players take it personally and it becomes a habit thats hard to break.
 
I'll take the better record and we can't be too sure that Leinart will be good anyway. I'd take the better record and still draft a good QB like Jacobs or Leak or Whitehurst

2) Look where Elway was drafted.
3) Look at the high pick successes there have been.
4) Look at the teams that have had excellent QBs. I don't care about having a nice running game. I care about a championship. If that means mediocrity this year so the team can be outstanding next year, that is MORE than fine with me.
 
Who's to say Leinart wont be a bust? I'd rather play to win and pick where we pick, Besides he plays for USC, I hate the guy

I tend to look at things ver strategically. Of course I want the Dolphins to win every game next year. Realistically I know they won't and at this time in my life I could take a pathetic season if it meant we could have a top three pick next year. I could do this because if we picked well we could have the foundation to a very strong team for a very long time.

If Leinert gets hurt and redshirted, does that mean we have to have two more 4-12 seasons.

If Dilfer can win a Super Bowl, So can Ferrote!

I hate the Dilfer arguement personally. Did he do it with a sub-standard defense? No he did it with one of the best defenses in NFL history. No team scored an offensive TD against them the entire playoffs. Now step away from that aberation and look at the other championship teams since 1990. You will see a pattern and it required a great QB.
