in your eyes how long b4 we win a SB

So I was thinking with the new coaching staff and perhaps. A new Qb just how long will it take us to win a SB. If we land a solid guy in the draft or fa and draft well for the next two years I see us as the team to beat in the east.
 
I remember them last winning the SB in January, 1974...I was about 8 years old. So basically anytime before I am in the old folk's home and crapping in my Depends would work for me!!!!
 
I think every year is going to be "the year" and then reality sets in about week 5 or 6.
 
You'd better be Buck Rogers, because it'll be in the 25th Century.
 
Shula won the super bowl as a Miami Dolphin in his 3rd year. I will give Philbin 4 years. Brady will be gone by then.
 
For years the org talked the talk ... but couldn't even crawl the crawl ... let alone walk the walk.

Need a good Coach & QB for starts .... then need to consistently draft well ... then we'll have a chance to build a good team.

THAT's alot of "WALK". Currently we've got moderate talent & little depth ... I know some will argue, but that's why we couldn't even Three-Peat .... DUH!!

Frankly, I'm gunning for respectable & over .500 consistently. A big benchmark is beating a couple winning teams when they aren't crippled up.
 
Given the team's luck, as well as my own, I'll say a month after I die probably.

I was born a month after their last SB appearance, so blame it on me
 
no way to predict at this point lets see what Philben does but we are not as close to a superbowl team as some want to believe right now but we havent had our off season and Philben hant ran anything yet. If he does things right things can change in a hurry .
 
I can't wait till we win the SB again......I will be crying my eyes out, and booking a flight to be at the parade in Miami....then partying on South Beach for the rest of the week. :brewskis: I can't wait.
 
I would venture to say the Dolphins are at least a year or so a way at this point. But some teams have been able to make a radical turnaround in a single season or so.
