So true. If he's telling the truth (and no real reason to doubt he is), why not wait a couple days and let the Wells report vindicate him as a good hearted (if somewhat crude) guy just trying to be a buddy? Instead he comes off as an impulsive hothead, who is just as guilty as Martin of spilling secrets to vindicate himself. Just not smart.

Because we aren't robots. This man was betrayed by someone who pretended to be his friend over how many years and he is sitting there taking it in stride. Seeing his named SMEARED all over TV. Seeing his dream career stripped away from him too soon. Seeing his legacy absolutely ruined. Feeling stabbed in the back.

I think it's obvious the report will not favor Martin. Why else would he not corporate with the investigation. Any true victim will corporate and let the truth speak for itself. Furthermore, his camp decided to air out the voice mail and some other comments. You don't air dirty laundry in public if you think you can win with the truth

No - Jonathan Martin cooperated fully with the NFL investigation, he was interviewed for like 6+ hours. I think that you may be confusing the NFL investigation (run by Ted Wells) and the NFLPA (Players Association ie the players union), which has attempted to do it's own separate inquiry. The Martin camp formed the view that the Player's Union inquiry was b/s.

Good for Cog. While he is by no stretch a saint, Cog was demonized by Martin for what really amounted to no reason. Martin, as we've all seen, was equally involved in everything that went on between them as they joked around with each other. Martin has harmed Cog's chances of playing again in the NFL. The reason: because Martin was a bitch who became overwhelmed and couldn't handle his job and had to find a scape-goat. He found one in Cog. But guess what Martin? You've been found out.

I'm pro Incognito. I know he won't be playing for us. But I hope like hell he finds a jobs faster than the little bitch that used Cog as an excuse because he wasn't enough of a man to take care of business on the field.

Apparently Martin and his people reached out to the Dolphins this week about those prospects.
