Higgins is not just a "buddy" or friend of Ross, he is a Dolphins employee and has been all year.

I always felt Mangini got a raw deal with the Jets. It would be quite priceless to trample over the Jets with someone they totally discarded.

A little off topic, but speaking of Jorge Perez, wasn't he originally supposed to be the managing partner with Ross and Michael Dell as basically the silent financial backers? I remember Perez leaked this to the media and Huizenga got upset and refused to sell if Perez was involved. At least we wouldn't of had a jets fan as an owner.
