Without a doubt Ross is better at business and developing real estate. Unfortunately the way he makes his football decisions is by asking a committee of fired jets employees what to do.

The more I read on Higgins I like him.

This guy is only 39 and he's done more than most people in their lives. He has one HEFTY resume.

I don't care what he's done for the Jets. It's not like the Parcells coming from Dallas, or Philbin coming from Green Bay has done anything for us.

What I do like is that he has no allegiance to anyone in Davie. Not Ireland, Philbin, or Aponte.

Ross is surrounding himself with football people from the outside who can give him advice impartially.

I hope Higgins has been paying attention to the perception of this team, and encourages Philbin to clean house. I would be fine with him searching for our GM, and letting that GM hire a coach.

Ross is way smarter than I am. However, I would have cleaned house at the end of 2010 and started a organization in which the GM, HC and I had the same vision of what we wanted to do to win.

He's a terrible human being and if you wanted to have someone more personable than Jeff Ireland as your GM, congratulations -- you may have found the only person on earth who is a step back in that respect.
