I hope Brian Daboll this year affects the offense as much as Mike Nolan affected the defense last year. But where Nolan wasn't much of a suprise, there will be a lot of crow pie et with Daboll. Who'd of thunk it? Well, he made an NFL QB out of the weak armed McCoy. If he had WRs, he might have been able to coach the team to a better than 31st offense. One other comment on that ranking. If the defense was as sorry as I think it was, Cleveland's offense opportunities in a game would be greatly diminished. Sometimes an offenses yds/gm ranking is due to the quality of the team's defense. I would think a better judge of the proficiency of a team's offense is a team's yds/play and points per possession (but even then, field position would have a lot to do with those numbers). I'd be curious to find out how well Cleveland did with those stats.
