Is Hickey Joined at the Hip to Philbin's Hot Seat?

With all the love being spilled out here for (Jim) Harbough, please put me on record that I can't stand the SOB, he acts like a child on the sidelines and I think he sucks.

He wins. That's what matters.

No, I'm really not. If Philbin can't get this team up for a playoff game, if he can't prepare this team when the playoffs are on the line, then he isn't good enough to be our head coach. I'm not interested in extending a period of mediocrity for the sake of coaching staff consistency. You lose decades doing that crap.

THIS ^^^ We have seen how he responds to big games and every time it's the same and it isn't pretty. With the season on the line the teams fails to come out of the locker room. They were probably in there picking up gum wrappers.

I think Tannehill's ****ty play those games had a little more to do with the team looking like **** than Philbin's pregame speech. Tannehill put up back to back sub 60 passer rating performances for 2 of the worst games of his career.

5000 vcash says Philbin will still be the Head Coach of the Miami Dolphins in 2015.

I don't have 5000, but I will put 3000 on it.

It's the coaching staff's job to put together a game plan that can come up with better than 7 points in the last 8 quarters of the season with the playoffs on the line. The team was totally unprepared for the two biggest games of the year, plain and simple.

If your QB can't hit guys running wide open for TDs then how in the **** is that the coaching staffs fault?

So you remember 60 straight offensive plays where Ryan missed a wide open WR?? We scored SEVEN TOTAL POINTS in EIGHT QUARTERS!!! If Ryan was that bad put in Moore. Ryan was not the only one with a bad showing those last two weeks, the entire team was unprepared.

Exactly. That is the only coaching decision that would have made a lick of a difference. I preferred he stuck with Tannehill because at least he gains experience even if we fail but playing Moore week 17 probably gave us our best chance to win.

You don't remember Moore playing in week 16?

well KTOWN, maybe they should throw their gum wrappers in the trash like adults instead of on their practice field and locker room.

they should have to pick them up. called taking ownership of the mistakes and fugups. its teaching if you cant do little things, how can you be trusted with the bigger things? this was develope by the u.s. military. these KIDS that run around and say what MEN they are mostly are over grown children who need to learn chucking gum wrappers and trash of the facility floors and fields are NOT acceptable.

good thing. their mommas are not there to clean up after them any longer.

i guess no one remembers DON SHULA did the same thing and worse. and you were FINED if you left your towel anywhere but in the laundry bin. trash cleanup, in fact, shula saw you dropping trash like that, oh dear god!!!

were you not taught ownership KTOWN?

If you are blaming Tannehill for the Buffalo game, you are blind. The OL was about as effective against Buffalo's pass rush as a sack of feathers. There isn't a QB in the league that would have been effective under such durress. There were some cases where he was sacked in .5 seconds...

I don't blame Tannehill or Philbin, I blame Ireland. And I've been blaming Ireland since about a year ago when I questioned why we spent less on offense than just about every team in the league while having more money in the coffers than just about every team in the league. About a year ago Joe Philbin pleaded and argued with Ireland for more o-line help as he had the foresight to realize we didn't have the horses to stop some of the d-lines we'd face such as divisional rivals the Bills and the Jets.

Our playoff hopes were not dashed week 16 or week 17, they were dashed before the season even began by poor planning and lack of foresight from our GM.

... picking up gum wrappers.

Ever had the chance to see Don Shula out early on his practice fields? Tom Coughlin?

So tired of this line of fan crap which stemmed from nit picking on a Hard Knocks episode. Get a grip.
