NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell did not rule out a suspension for Giants guard John Jerry for his role in the Miami Dolphins BullyGate mess last season, but remained vague on any punishment, calling it “a broad issue.”

So far the NFL has done nothing to penalize the three players named in investigator Ted Wells’ exhaustive report -- including Richie Incognito, Mike Pouncey and Jerry, who was named more than 100 times – except to mandate that they undergo counseling before they’d be allowed to resume their careers. Asked about possible discipline on Friday, Goodell said “There are different issues with different individuals. The bottom line is everything is proceeding and they are doing everything they have been asked to do. We will make individual decisions, if necessary, with any one of those individuals.”

Goodell also made it sound like Incognito has been more cooperative than the other two.

“I would say the one person that has been very responsive and gone through the program is Richie Incognito,” Goodell said. “We are working with his people and monitoring his progress and it’s gone well.”

Pouncey won't be suspended, but it doesn't matter because if he did get suspended it would be for the first four games, which Pouncey is already out for anyway with his injury. The only impact would be it would cost Pouncey four pay checks.

To bad Pouncy is our best or second best offensive lineman. He's an asshole and hes also stupid as ****

Show trials and bad PR already cost one career. I don't see anything more being done because of opinion like those from the above poster.

Sounds like a lot of posturing going on on both sides over this god damned sensitivity training. Just do the mother****ing training Pouncey, you ****tard!!

After the Ray Rice disgrace, I don't think Goodell would be too keen to risk more censure for inconsistency by imposing any punishment for what turned out to be a mutual cluster **** nor to revisit any more attention regarding this episode.

Amen. The part that seems to be being glazed over, or simply ignored, is the mention of Pouncey supplying drugs to other players at his home. THAT'S the part that's surprising me. I thought he'da been wrung up on that one.

Ray Rice gets two games so Pouncey will get…..a six game ban.

People choose to act like that never happened. Whats troubling about that is that it wasn't revealed by Martin it was Incognito basing outing him

Maybe not so surprising considering if you punish the supplier of recreational drugs you need to also punish the users and one of them is the jelly fish-spined mama's boy who got paid by the fins to quit on them and has, from a public image standpoint, gotten more or less a free ride.

I think you have the meat of it there.

Miami Dolphins Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey said Tuesday he hasn't fulfilled the NFL's requirement to see a medical professional for psychological testing before he returns to the field and that he's against the idea altogether.

"I have no clue [about a date], but I don't think I need that," Pouncey said Tuesday after Miami's organized team activities. "So I have no clue."

When asked a follow-up question on why he doesn't need to see a medical professional, Pouncey responded, "I just don't think I do."...

One requirement the league is asking of Pouncey before he returns to the field is to undergo psychological testing.

"I don't have any thought on it," Pouncey said of a possible suspension. "That's not up to me right now. I'm just waiting to hear."

Im not going to be surprised if we hear more about this in weeks to come.

if they used drugs which I would be money on you are correct although the supplier always gets stiffer penalties in court

All hear say. Just like report itself. That report would of been destroyed by any good defense lawyer.
